    The real question is since I now have a 4 1/8 hole saw what else should I make big ole holes into...

    Now I have to get a lift, gears, locker, bumpers, armor... 'cause I don't want to be *that* guy with a stock rig and a snorkle.

    They probably won't notice such an itty-bitty hole. 6557-000177.jpg

    @zeelaagee
    Which part of Kommiefornia are you in?
    If you're near me don't buy a 4 1/8 (105 mm) hole saw.

    @zeelaagee

    I'm in the Mira Mesa / Poway area.
    So maybe +/- 45 minutes away depending on traffic.

    So, you're more than welcome to use the hole saw I bought. Or just come over to where I am and I can assist you by drinking a couple beers as you drill holes in your fender.

    I'm mostly a function over form person but this is so true. I wouldn't even run an airflow if it weren't for 315s.

    Same here. After chopping my fenders to fit 315s there's no splash guard to protect the intake.

    I'm not as concerned about water as I am dirt/dust/sand getting into the engine. Last time I went and played in the desert I had to vaccum out a bunch of pebbles and sand from the intake box.

    He'll still benefit from the snorkle out here in CA regardless of whether or not his truck is lifted. It's dry and dusty out here on the trails.

    I didn't always have the 315s and chopped fenders. I don't know how many engine air filters I've gone through but it's definitely more often than the recommended maintenance schedule.
