I could have sworn my towing capacity was significantly higher than the 2500 lb claimed in that article. Somewhere in the range of 6,800lb.

Don't get me wrong if I had the money I would probably own a Tesla but not for towing. Just like around town bs plus all that go fast now power would be nice.

I also didn't buy a tacoma for towing. If I needed a truck specifically to tow things I would have bought an old cummins dodge.

I wouldn't be surprised if in 5-10 years, there is a Tesla model in production or in the works that has similar towing capabilities to a full size truck.

True unless you need it for light towing then that is over kill. I didn't either but it has amazed me when I have towed with it because I wasn't expecting much, but would expect more than a tesla.

Ahh yes forgot that part. Sometimes I wish I got payed in parts for the truck instead of money. Like awesome 2 weeks (or month depends on how your paycheck gets sent out) here is some of that suspension work you wanted. Another pay check would be like cool here is a set up UCA's or LCA's, etc lol!

I imagine if we got paid for in parts, the government wouldn't get to take their share! Naw, pretty sure they'd get their percentage. It'd be more like: here's 60% of that suspension work you wanted.
