NE area wheeling trip plans

@tacobell007 do you think i need to order anything else? i just have the ome88x and the light racing spc UCAs with brand new ball joints and bushings that i have yet to install. I believe theirs a 1/4" top spacer in my kit now unless they didnt install it. Ive heard you might need to cut the bolt holding the UCA in place so would it be wise to order those before hand?

 

You don't have to cut the UCA bolts, you can bend the inner fender out of the way, but I think Rick said new UCA bolts were only $12 a piece at Toyota

Guys, I really want to hit up the NH trip in August but my truck is definitely not lifted enough of those pictures were actually class 6 roads. I have the Eibach coils up front with the lean spacer, 5100's all around and the factory 4 leaf pack. It's a little lower in the front. Any recommendations to get a little more lift for not too much money? The Eibach coils aren't even 4 months old and they ride great. I'd hate to have to get longer coils for only a little bit more lift

 

Um... I'm going in at stock height......... fucked if I do and fucked if I don't because I can't afford it right now haha.

 

To be quite honest, it doesn't even seem like I'm much higher than stock. Didn't get much of a lift with the Eibach 620 coils. I do have BFG all terrain tires at 265/70/17, but I might have to sit this one out. Or ride with someone if they'll let me haha

Adjust the fronts to the next highest clip level and a progressive AAL in the rear

 

Yeah I was thinking about bumping it up to .85. But the money for labor to do that, and then an alignment, isn't going to be cheap. I'll have to look into a progressive AAL. I just don't want to jeapordize the ride quality you know?

I was thinking leaving the Friday 26th. Go to the places on the 27th and coming home on Sunday. I talked to Rachel and she said with all that no need to pull the trailer we will just get a room

 

I'll have to think about it. If I budget myself appropriately I'll be able to lift it up a little more

 

Proper spotting you can probably get your truck through most of the hard areas anyways.

 

You hitting the train or B52 first? The cabins in the alligash are all pretty nice. Loon lodge and New England outdoor center are probably the most kid friendly. I would imagine you will want a bug net hat this time of year. The alligash wilderness waterway is private so keep in mind that you will need cash upon entry per person. Not sure of the rates.

 

Well it depends on who you have doing it. Fronts should only take 2 or 3 hours, and I get alignments for $40 with our commercial account

 

that's it, my bad read the calendar wrong. i'm going to try and look up rooms. so far it's your family, me, and one of my friends. do you need multiple rooms for your crew?

 

plan is to drive up to lodging friday, go to the trains saturday, come back to lodging, sunday morning go to the b52 and then drive home. looking at the moosehead lake area since it's near the plane, and about 6 hours from home
