    I did a few years ago. It was dry and dusty, unlike some of the muddy videos you'll see on youtube. I'd imagine some of those hill climbs would be pretty hairy when they were wet and muddy. There was one hill climb we had to winch up, which took forever. It was literally straight up, seemed like only dirt bikes could do it and it was loose dirt and rock. It was a fun time though.

    That''s crazy! I'd be down. Only have one hurdle to take care of before next weekend though. I was changing my front bump stops out and sheared one off, so now i have to drill and tap it. Did more harm than good last weekend at the shop.

    reading the directions I've totally been in that area but there were multiple trails and we didn't do them all. I think I would have remembered that one. The trails we did were dry and easy in the mid summer. We camped where they mention the RV parking.

    wasn't there talk of a possible closure of Liberty trails? It was up for debate maybe?

    I'm not sure... My boss rides his bike on a lot of the trails up there and he said something in passing about a meeting coming up soon but i have no idea.

    Did Liberty 4w319 in 2014; fun but steep and lots of exposure (off camber and tippy).
    Rear End Hill was slick as snot but the Yeti conquered it; the Isuzu Trooper that was with us didn't fair so well.

    There are some really steep grades with nothing to winch from or against...

    I'm going on a family camping trip to Salmon la sac soon. My plan, depending on work, is to leave home either Thursday afternoon the 28th, so next week, or Friday morning the 29th. I've never done Gallagher but have been through Liberty (when I was completely stock). I don't know the trails well enough to lead, but would anybody want to do a trip over there either Friday or Saturday next week? It would be fun to see some of you again, or meet new people since I moved away to Spokaneland

    Yep I am still planning to be a go for the weekend if anyone else wants to jump in. Sounds like I can move @JDAM up to the going list. I've never been all the way up these roads but they are forest service roads so I don't anticipate anything too rough to get stuck in but it should still be fun getting out and exploring.

    Going to make a run via FS roads from the White Horse area just West of Darrington up to Concrete to maybe drop in on the fly-in going on at the airport there and then head back South to the Sauk river to see if we can find a place to camp out for the night. Let me know if anyone else wants to join in and I will add them to the list.

    Where: White Horse to Concrete to Sauk River for camping

    When: 7/23-7/24

    Meet Up: Arlington Safeway 9:30am 20500 Olympic Pl, Arlington, WA 98223

    Going:

    @JeffRoyJenkins
    @godofspeed
    @2004TacomaNavy +1 (not camping?)
    @JDAM +1 Jeep

    Maybe:
    @rl206
    @velillen
    @Bigheadtinyarms
