Dang I think you need a real trophy truck, lol. Time for a Hydro steering setup!

Dang looks really clean! I would jump on it, I was looking at prices for 1st gens just for the heck of it and really surprised at how much they sell for!
They are actually going up in value due to the fact that they are UNICORNS, no more small trucks are available anymore, seems really stupid for manufacturers to not offer a compact pickup truck anymore, the demand is HUGE, wonder who is going to refill this rather large niche market again.
Whoever does is going to be selling them like crazy, what would be really awesome is to offer one with a V8, but maybe they are scared that everybody will be wrecking them like people did to the GMC Cyclone, those things were wrapped around poles more than a hooker after payday and they were AWD!

Shoot maybe I should buy up all the little 5 lugs and put V8s in them for $20K, lol.

It would almost be a great investment buying and reselling 1st gens after they have been gone through and sell them however that would require me being able to find a bunch of them for cheap and I dont want fully beat ones, may be a tough thing to do!
What so they want for that one? PM me if you dont want to give away your deal! Dont want anyone else to swoop in and get it! I know there are tons of people that are looking for good condition 1st gens.

I can help you out, are you planning on running a main and an Aux separated by an isolator? Thats how I have done them in the past to make sure you never kill your starting battery when camping etc..
Some guys go as far as buying a dual 6v battery setup for much longer reserve capacity but those 6V batteries for decent ones are $200+ each generally, but get you far more than double the time a 12v single will get you. But thats if you have space to add a 3rd battery, which most dont usually.

Whats the problem with it, feel loose or maybe break off some teeth inside the rack shaft? Its always about eliminating the weak links, before you know it you start considering building a new tubular frame, haha.

What are you going to do for an upgrade?

Just blew the seals. Don't think any of the teeth or anything got damaged. I'm gonna buy another one and rebuild this one so I have spares. Lol
