My favorite is my friend's house. People have been watching Georgia games at their shed since the 70's. The only time I ever miss a game there is if I'm at it. We cook out, drink, and there's always 30-40 people there. So much fun.

At the games, we kinda have the same thing going. My cousin went to Georgia, so him and all his friends set up a tent with a tv and all the wivse bring food. Most of the people go into the game, so it's usually me and 3-4 other people at the tent watching the game, so we can focus.

I'm not big on watching games at bars either...too many distractions.

Same here. Sometimes I go to a friends house and he'll go out to the garage for a smoke and everyone winds up hanging out there and missing parts of the game and I'm the only one still in the house in front of the TV. It feels award since it's his place but I can't stand missing it. He usually has the radio on out there but still. I always remember the UF game in 2012 when he went out for a smoke and that was when Mitchell caught the late TD pass. We were going crazy in the house and he missed. This was actually at his brothers house so he didn't have the radio outside there. He came running inside when he heard all the hell raising.

That's retarded. That's the cool thing about the shed we watch ours at: it's got a HUUUGE tv in it and surround-sound and no one takes their eyes off the screen the whole game (Although, in 2014 when Tech pulled the upset, I went in the woods and threw beer bottles at trees for the remainder of the game :anonymous: )

This exact thing happened to me when Auburn returned the field goal for a TD vs. Bama. It cut to commercial, and I went out, thought I had enough time. I came in the house, my wife just sitting there, staring at the tv in disbelief. I looked at the tv and saw the replay happening. Went right back outside and smoked another one.

I know. I couldn't even be mad. Great play. Great experience for Auburn. Adds to the history and rivalry quite well.

That's why its the best rivalry in college football.

How do ya'll think we felt the week before? At first I couldn't believe the end of the iron bowl but after I thought about the fact of how all Bama's players on the field were bigger slower guys for blocking it wasn't as shocking. But in our case the ball was going to be either incomplete or intercepted and we actually tipped it right to him.

Oh I hate AU but them two games had me kinda in awe thinking about how much fun that had to be as bad as it hurt. And as painful as that was I actually watched the SEC storied show about it.

You know the saying "I'd rather be lucky than good" so that one of the things that makes this game so great. In years past when we'd play a top team like Bama and were underdogs, people would say the usual, oh you know you can't/won't win. But that's just it, you never know, a lucky bounce and everything can change. Sometimes it's just destiny.

The tip during the auburn/UGA game that year was the reason we didn't go to ATL. The Kick-Six was a good (albeit an unlikely) play on their part. The tip was just lucky bullshit. If they'd lost to UGA, they could have beaten us in the same gut-wrenching fashion and we still would have won the West, probably won the SEC, and I don't recall if we would have been able to play for the NC against FL State or not given a loss that late in the year and whoever else was undefeated...

But whatever.... I'm not bitter or anything.

I don't mid Auburn. My hate teams are FL, TN, and, most of all, GT. My wife's family are Tech fans, so that up'd my hate meter from "you suck" to "I will cut your Goddamned head off"

A lot of my friends went to auburn. I live on the TN border. Florida...Florida is just Florida. And everyone from Florida moves here, unfortunately. That's why I hate those 3 teams. I hate tech, but just because it's a rivalry game. I would hate them more if they beat us more, I guess.

I had many friends at auburn. The best man at my wedding went there. I have no problem w/ the people, and the university itself is beautiful and was a lot of fun to visit while I was in school.

I just want them to lose every game they ever play in any sport. That's all.

For me Auburn has always been the same level as Us, a good team that can't quite get over the hump. A 2nd tier SEC team. But after winning th NC with Scam the fans I've run across seem to act as if they are at Bama's status. But maybe that's just me. Aside from that they are one of my hated rivals after UF of course. But it is one of them love to hate them kind of rivalries.

I have some friends that are pursuing similar degrees within the same field. A lot of them will go on to work in athletic departments for universities or for various other aspects of college sports. I'm not entirely sure what they'll do specifically, but I do know that is the most common path for them.

While were on the subject of Auburn, predictions for the opener vs. Clem? I expect a close one through the first 2, but in the end, I dont think its close.. I mayyyy be a bit biased though. :D
