So the more I see the CVTs the more I want one. I'm hesitant to mount one to my cab or bed though. After using my Google-Fu I came across this:

You can snag one of these trailers from Military auctions for anywhere from $300- $750. Luckily Im planning on a trip to San Diego this year and lots of these trailers are being auctioned out of Pendleton.

Might have to start thinking this out...haha

I was thinking about getting these, but I'd really want to keep my cup holders. I'd probably end up having to get that and the fj xcase like @Wicked 2007 if I went this route. -_- but CUP HOLDERSSSSSSSS

5 cup holders and 4 seats in the access cab. kinda of a pain in the ass on a 15hr drive.

And... I need to hand out an early TW award. For the nicest, most helpful dude on the planet... My man!

    Blake. Aka @tacomgee

So here's the scoop. Blake swings by today to grab a map from me and some quick info on the trails in and around MNF.

I manage to Tom Sawyer this dude in helping me with this...
    image.jpg
    image.jpg

MASSIVE oak tree limb fell and hit my neighbors house. Neighbors are an awesome older couple in their 70's. They're out town for the weekend. I figure ill be a good neighbor and hack some of the shit up so they can get their car in when they get home...

Turns into a 5 hour chainsaw fest with Blake swamping for me, and me lopping off huge 250lb rounds and Blake hoisting them out like the man-beast he is.

Finally we get most of it dropped and cleaned up, and enough of a path for the neighbors to get in and out safely.

Long story longer, Blake rolls to my house, brings me beer, and volunteers for 5 hours of back breaking manual labor all for the benefit of some people he's never met. AFTER working a whole days shift at his job! My neighbor made it home at around 7 and was so thankful she was in tears. Obviously she was devastated that the tree came down, but the fact that we busted our asses and cleaned it up made her day.

So, Blake, thank you. You are a stand up guy, which I already knew, but now you have elevated yourself to somebody I think very highly of. Like this post, and buy Blake a beer when you see him, he's a good dude.

    Final product.
