All turbos are superchargers, but not all superchargers are turbos.

The timing chain doesn't change at all. Factory Tacoma has a single serpentine belt, supercharged has 2 serpentine belts

FWIW the only complaint I have about my '14 is the squeeky as fuck leafs. Everything else about it rocks.

Yeah I'm disappointed to say the least. It's so loud I can hear it sometimes when I'm going 70mph over a bumpy highway with the radio on (not too loud) and the windows up. It's faint at those background noise levels but annoying nonetheless. It's way more squeaky on surface streets I drive on every day to work that are boncy. I'd buy an aftermarket leaf pack if it fixed it for sure but squeaks and rattles are one of my biggest pet peeves in vehicles.

I've resorted to lubing the leafs which only helps a little to moderate amount and for a day or three. I should try the rubber bicycle tube fix I found searching TW but I don't think that'd last very long; probably better then 3 days though.

With all the creaks and squeaks, especially since cutting fenders, I pretty much always just blast music :lalala:

The good thing is the Squeaky leafs scare away the deer that were going to run in front of you. .. That's what I'm going to sum up the three deer suicide attempts within the last hour that were aborted as my truck closed in on them.

Anyone on here with a white 2.5 gen that got CHP's signature about 20 minutes ago near the Taj in Golden? Didn't seem to be going very fast unless it was that drop to 45 zone.

I think it was the one in Boulder. I paid $1285 for just the 5 tires, mounted and balanced them myself because I didn't want to wait 3 hours for them to do it. It was crazy busy there that day.

In my opinion, 255/85 is superior to 285/75 in every situation except mud or snow that is more than axle deep. I don't plan to be in those situations very often so I'm going with 255/85.
