Just finished paper sanding and painting my rear break drums with some black break caliper paint. Hope this last for a while. Haven't been modding or nothing crazy, and they were pretty rusted for no reason.

Looks great. But put a thin film of grease on the drum hats or the back mounting area of the wheels. If not....those wheels will stick like a mofo next time you try to take 'em off.

Charlotte is about an hour and 45 minutes away from me, 3 1/2 hour round trip. I appreciate the offer but 3 1/2 hours just for a decal isn't worth the trip in my opinion. Thanks for the offer.

Yup, I though about the same thing. I did scrapped off some residual gasket that was stock in the back of the rims. Clean them very well, and applied a thin layer of grease before remounting the rims and tires.
It came out very good! Now when you see thru the rim, it looks nice and clean. Give the truck some nice essence.

That's nice! Now that you mentioned it, I might have to do that soon too. Got a couple of decals on the rear window of my camper shell that are half way pilled off due to the crazy weather here in Jax, FL.
Any pics by any chance? :p

I wanted to give an update to my rear differential oil change. When I got the truck, it didn't want to go higher than 4,100 rpms. i don't mean it stopped but it did decrease in power and feel like something wasn't working properly. Since I don't get my rpms that high on a regular basis and nothing seemed wrong, I didn't go looking for the issue.
When i changed it, that problem went away and my truck has no problem going past 4100 rpms. Its literally like driving a different truck!
so don't forget to change your gear oil kids!!!:mudding:
