Any of our group buy gurus think they can make one of these happen from somewhere? It would be nice to say the least.

I tried doing something a few months back. I can see if he's still interested but no guarantees

Check on Amazon for the True Edge Rivetz Style Fender Flares.
Thats, what I went with. They're not Bushwacker but very similar and cost less. 20160403_152741.jpg

The issue I could forsee with a GB for Bushwackers is that they come in two different configurations depending upon the bed length.

I'm not saying not to do it. Just that it's something to think about because there'll be that one guy who doesn't double check and gets the wrong item.

How was the install on the True Edge? Do the fender flares feel like a good material and not a cheap piece of plastic that wil deteriorate over time? I'm very interested in some flares but have always felt Bushwackers are a little rich for my liking. I may want to have mine painted silver to match the truck.

I didn't install them in the conventional manner. I have 315s so my fenders are chopped in the front. So, the supplied hardware was useless to me.

The torx head screws are for show and the mounting hardware is to the splash guard and where the mud flaps go.

I went to home depot and bought carriage bolts and put them through the actual fender where the clips are to hold the oem flare in position.

Here's the write up of what I did on DIY Modified Tacoma (Facebook page):

I'd assume that if you intend to mount them in the traditional manner that it's really easy to do. There'd be no drilling, cutting, etc. Just use the supplied hardware.

It seems like sturdy, rigid, quality material.
