You don't need need extended brake lines with that setup although, if you off road a lot (flex your truck out frequently), it's probably not a bad idea. The shock is still the limiting factor for travel and since you're still using a stock length shock, your stock length brake lines are still adequate.

Awesome, hopefully the camper treats you and your family well! If you have any questions about set-up/tear down, let me know. I'll be around this weekend.

That is a fine looking truck. Discouraging to hear that it was riding like shit with that set up.

Since i wont have a cap or be putting weight in the back all the time, wouldn't keeping the 5100's at 0 and getting an AAL put me way to high in the back? I really don't even have that much of a lift with the Eibach coils. I see stock trucks in town and we're about the same height

As I mentioned to Mike, without any weight in the back and an AAL, wouldn't I be too high in the rear? For the record I have the Eibach 620 coils

What do the Eibach's give for lift? I think it's an 1.5" lift right? If so then putting something like the Icon AAL's that only give a 1.5" lift is going to be a good match. It will keep it like a factory type rake.

It's supposed to be 1.6". It seems as if I'm already maintaining the factory rake. I'll get some measurements and pictures when I get a chance

Maybe take the factory overload outand put the progressive AAL in so it's not too high

Who mentioned something about a big local trailer parts dealer? Looks like Trailer Parts Depot is local but they seem to only do things through internet/email and stuff. There is no phone number

Yes, no weight in the back, Icon AAL and overload would give you a little better than factory rake in my opinion. You might want to leave the overload out, it'll drop the rear 1/2" and likely maintain factory rake. If you tow and/or haul frequently and heavy, you might want to think about it though. Wheelers used to sell a progressive 3 leaf AAL HD version if you haul that you could consider. Not sure if they still offer it.
    It's for ventilation!

Some of you seem to know the ins and outs of our trucks various suspension options pretty well so if you don't mind giving my plans a sanity check, since it's been the hot subject today.

As it sits today: 2015 DCLB with a tall cap
Going on soon: full skids, sliders
Future plans: US Offroad hidden winch mount, rear plate bumper with swing outs for tire and jerry cans

I don't want too much lift, 2" or so would be perfect. I was thinking the following:
    OME Shocks/struts
    886 coils
    Dakar leaf pack

Does this make sense? I plan on moderately wheeling the truck but it'll mainly be a daily driver. Will I need UCAs, Diff drop, extended brake lines, etc?

Not sure about the 886's. How much does the US Offroad mount weigh?

They list it at 63lbs, no winch. I'd be putting something in there but not sure what.

Well if you are putting the that and a winch on then I would say yes go with the 886's because most winches are going to be about 75lbs or more.
Better for height than for weight. I would say try the 886's first (they are made for if you add 100lbs or more to the front of your truck) and if they are too stiff then go to the 887's
