    Thank you,
I have been in Torrance since 2000, it is a great city to live in and not far from the beach, but lots of traffic. All in all would not live anywhere else except 7000 ft in the mountains or on 100 plus acre piece of land. For now I will stay put.

Thanks again, I did post the installation instructions as a picture on the store front and they are also located on:

You should have your store link mentioned in your YouTube page, so that if anyone stumbles on your video on YouTube, they will know where to go to buy it.

Just installed mine. Great product, however, I don't like how loose it is on the hinge. I'm sure it's fine though. Maybe add a small Allen screw on the side to anchor it from rotating?

This is mostly my OCD talking.

I do understand, It appears on all our trucks the hinge cup diameter is not always the same and there is some with more weld material. The first version had a smaller inner diameter but many people had issues installing part and the rubber seals were not retained well. In the interest of making the part more universal and maintaining the security integrity v2.0 was created. I will PM you to discuss an alternative solution.

    Thanks again.

Any chance of revealing that alternative solution to us?

Sure, we we looking at alternate forms of the the rubber seal and tried a solid rubber vs. the hollow rubber seal. The solid one does not give so it could cause fit problems for those with more paint on the hinge cup, but could make the part fit tighter. Another thing is the hinge cup is not concentric or slightly tapered so it might be hard to install then loosen up after you get it installed

Mine rotates pretty freely as well. Not at all concerned about it.

The one pictured above is v1.0 and was installed by taking the hinge off correct?

It will not make a difference if you can rotate the part as once it is fastened together it cannot be removed without removing the fastener. The fastener should be on the outside to make it harder to remove but with the v1.0 part it really does not make a difference as both pieces are the same.

No, it is a 2.0. As to having the fastener on the outside, I couldn't see a way to tightening that screw if it was in that orientation. None of our crackheads carry torx, let alone torx-post.

Just noticed it's Gen 2 Tacoma... when do you expect the Gen 3 version to be available?

Just received mine the other day. Nothing is full prof but i feel like this is enough to have a thief move onto the next guy. I had a minor issue with the rubber insert popping out when trying to install it. I think this could be fixed if they used an o-ring instead of the cord as it would only pop out at the seam in the rubber cord. Thank you for the fast shipping and the high quality product.
