    Hola -

I'm purchasing my first Taco on July 30 in Montana and will be driving it home to the lovely PNW. Right now the plan is to head south via Boise.

Since you guys appear to be craigslist monsters, what should I look for on the way for my truck? Eventually I want a topper and a camping setup, but am open to any odds and ends along the way.

I figured I should use my 700mi for something worthwhile at least...American Pickers style.

Edit: I'm also open to any slight detours for fireroads/light offroad if it will break up the drive. Any ideas?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Keep looking for the cap, bed rug and maybe some off road lighting. Wheels wouldn't hurt either. Welcome to TW!

Floor Mats, and some Seat covers would be a great way to start off.

Do you guys have any good techniques for the search besides manually checking craigs?

I'd drive out there and pick it up and just stay there in Montana.

Just keep throwin' money at it.
Searchtempest.com searches multiple CL pages at the same time. You just set the distance and it will search all of them between your start zip code and that distance.

What part of Montana? There are some more beautiful routes to get back to the PNW and there are some pretty boring ones.
