Oh geez man...I'm really sorry to hear this. This makes me want to skip training after work and go home and hang out with my pooch instead. My heart goes out to you.

I hope to be doing this in a month or two. Would you mind taking a few more pics and giving an overview on the install? How much of the front bumper did you have to cut?

Offensive stickers and stuff the wife doesn't know about.
Dang yeah that black multicam looks awesome, doesn't scream Bitch I Operate like some people who try to overdo it (most of whom have never deployed lol) but just has an awesome different look to it. Think I might have to steal that from you...Is he able to do another set? What do you mean you sent him the vinyl? Like you had a large piece of black multicam vinyl and sent it to him to have it cut? Sounds like he needs to add some of the newer camo designs to his inventory. Maybe I'll do one of the dark krypteks or something...

That's brutal... Sorry to hear that. Dogs are family. Got to be one of the hardest things I've ever done.

all they should have done was test drive it to see if the hard shifting/R to D delay etc existed and then they hooked up the diagnostic tool and programmed the new software to the ECU. slapped the new updated decal under the hood near the battery side and said "all done, would you like it washed?" lol

YA RIGHT! Its been in 3 times for the trans so they knew. My dealership refuses to wash/detail the truck anytime. They had it in for the hood, and it had dust all over it when I got it back and even then I had to raise my voice just to get them to rinse it off.

raising your voice/yelling doesn't always get you what you want. I was frustrated but when you explain the reason why they typically go out of their way to make you a happy customer... but i'm in CA and you're in MO, two different states, two different dealerships and two different reps... I would try another dealership and see if you get a better experience there...

I'll try to get more pictures. Haven't had a lot of time with the truck

The install was a real pain in the ass. I was planning on taking it over to @Texoma, but my father convinced me to try it ourselves. Not a good decision. Having never installed a bumper before and with the instructions being fairly vague, took us 9 hours to install. The entire bumper is removed and you just cut off a section about a foot long just under the headlights to make up space.

They're predators, came with them from the dealer. I personally don't love them, they hang down pretty far and I drag them pretty often.

Whattttttt, the (what I thought to be) OEM one's at my dealer are like all tube everywhere, and I don't like that they don't hang down almost at all it seems. Thanks though! I'll call the parts desk and see what they have.

Sorry to here you lost a buddy. Hopefully you are feeling a little better. :(
I imagine I only have a few more years with my oldest. She is 10 but going strong. Here is a shot from my wedding last summer. They spotted a squirrel during the ceremony. The 10 year old is the one with the ball.

No lol. I am actually a very pleasant well mannered person. I had literally detailed the truck before taking it in so that they wouldn't have to clean it to work on it. They changed the oil, fixed the hood, aligned the bed, and rotated the tires over the weekend. When I came in Monday and they were showing me the work I noticed all the dust from the body shop and hand prints in the dust. I asked if they washed the vehicle as part of the oil change/tune up stuff, most dealerships do and even this specific dealerships other sites for other brands, and they said no. I then asked if they could at least rinse it off cuz I brought it to them much cleaner than it was, and they still said no. So I told the rep that I wanted to see their manager and walked off, he promptly apologized and had it rinsed off. It is the only dealership for at least and hour in any direction, so I am kinda stuck because my current work schedule.
