It's completely based off your level. That's why most of the people that are lv25+ now recommend hoarding your stardust and not wasting it on CP leveling until you hit soft level caps (20+)

 

The only time I used my stardust was when I got cocky and hit a gym up the street. That was like day 3 of this game and I tried to win it with a 300 Tentacruel. Then I started catching much higher evolved CP pokemons than what I could evolve a 1st gen in to and realized it was a waste to use the stardust right now. Now I've got about 36k of it

 

I feel ya there man, I burned a lot of stardust in a rare pokemon (Aerodactyl) just to realize I'm going to run out of candy before I get him to a significant CP.... where in the hell am I going to find another Aerydactyl for candy!?!?

 

Yea i only spend stardusts on rare pokemons lol. Lapras and porygon right now. I spent some on vaporeon but that's because he's badass.

I caught a lvl 350(ish) one and it still is very low for any use atm. Caught it on the edge of a Bayou.

Just went out to lunch with coworkers. The bar we eat/drink at is a pokestop. Got to get shitty and get pokeballs every 15 mins.

 

My desk is situated between two pokestops. And someone keeps dropping modules on them. Spawn for dayz.

 

you can hit a pokestop every 5 minutes

 

he musta drunk a lot if it takes him that long to get pokeballs
