Give it a tug further down the seam and it should straighten out. Not a big deal, you find it happens occasionally. Easy fix though usually when it's folded up.

I'm going to assume you parked on the rocks to angle the front down to match the slope of the top of your tent to keep the water draining towards the front? But in doing this, doesn't that determine that you must sleep with your head by the door? :notsure:

I've had it in some windy conditions and it does shake and rattle and make noise a little, but nothing compared to some of the soft side RTT's. Haven't had it in high winds, and not sure I would want to experience that.

Guys, when you have your tent deployed, make sure you tie it down to a wheel with some rope or a ratchet strap. I have seen the ladder side of the tent get picked up by a wind gust and drop back down in the middle of the night.

Another great way to do it is stake down your ladder from each side of the bottom step with re-bar that way you don't have the straps in the way. We take a 1-2 ft chunk of re-bar and but a sharp l bend in the top to go across the step and then cross them over the steps so they are going in opposite directions into the ground. FYI>

Hey @Cascadia Tents I have a quick question for ya.

I own a Mombosa that is identical to the Mt Shasta Pioneer, and I replaced my old cover with a CVT cover. My question is about unzipping the cover completely when the tent is open, my RTT is mounted over the cab, so when i take the cover off it drapes over the cab doors. Is there a way to take the cover all the way off without sliding it off the rails? Do you make covers that zip completely off? Mine only zips open on 3 sides.

    Thank you!

I don't think the picture loaded for some reason I will try again. I bought it through there web site they billed it through there office in WY and there warehouse was in Layton UT. (which is where I live ) so it was a huge saving to me with no taxes and no shipping.

as far as a review I have not used it yet but so far I am very happy with it. It has a lot of the features of the higher end tents but with out the cost, its an extended version with an annex all included all for$1475. All the tubing on the inside is wrapped in fabric like the summit series from CVT. The only thing I wish it had was a metal floor. I looked at the mt shasta summit and the kukenam Tepui ruggedized version but could not justify the extra cost over the 23zero

Yes and Yes, you have a good eye they are the tall bed bars with all the mts on them. I still want to come up with a way to mount a set of Treds to them. maybe over the High low some how

Granted tonight being in Cave Creek, it would be somewhat of an expedition for you to get there considering the distance and the rush hour. :)
