Level 116 now

 

Its tough to get decent XP after you've completed pretty much everything

 

This place is swarming with Deathclaws. I killed 6 in just a few minutes along with a couple of raider survivalists.
It's located on the far left side of the map just north of the glowing sea. Lots of fun. A name for the location never popped up.

 

Is that the power substation area ?

 

Yes sir I believe so. Is there more than one? I've only come across this one.

 

I think there was only 2 deathclaws there inside the fence when I was there

 

I remember a tall lighthouse structure that you climb up and flip a switch which causes Deathclaws to come to it. They murdered all the Raiders as I watched from above.

 

As I approached from the south there were two that I disposed of with the fat man. Then when I was talking with two dudes named Arty(I think) another one attacked me from behind completely ruining my dialog with the Arty's, followed by 3 more. I'm only level 40 but they weren't really hard to deal with. I guess having Ada heavily armed helps with exterminating bad guys.

 

meh. Horrible analogy.

It took 2 years between Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. That being the timespan between successive Fallout games. It may not have been by the same "studio" but the people doing it delivered a far superior game according to most. I would hope it happens again.

 

Same here, I have no interest in constructions projects.

I finally read somewhere that once you get 4 unemployed people, you wont get more at a settlement. For the settlements, I made some salvage workbenches to employ people. I also made a trader stand (level 2) for each.

Ack!! After however long, I realized the advantages of putting defensive turrets up high. I love the Wooden Construction thing on the far right. Its like a 12 foot high platform, I think its called a "bridge". Anyways, I started putting them between dual defensive stands, and put 2 turrets on top of each. Now the schmoes attacking cant melee on my turrets.

Got my Charisma boosted to get Local Leader
Started setting up supply lines.
Repeatedly hitting Gunner/Raider settlements (and buying fiberglass and ballistic fiber)
I set up the provisioners with Ballistic Weave 4 fatigues, and then either Heavy or Sturdy Polymer Combat Armor, helmet, sunglasses and some weapon that does more than 100 damage.

 

Yeah, I didnt team up with him at all. So however long ago after taking down the institute, I ran into him.
I was going through Libertalia (or whatever that raider settlement made up of boats is) and for the first time I went off to the upper right end, and there was a connection to land. He was on the other side of a grounded boat. I wasted him.

 

Most efficient settlement has 24 settlers , 4 assigned to food and the rest assigned to bars and scavenging stations plus 3 brahmin

 

Does that bus pose an explosion threat to your guards?

 

I don't think so , its in Structures > Misc so I don't think they blow up but now I'll have to try an experiment haha

Last while I've been stockpiling resources to do the build at Coastal Cottage

Thinking about something like a medieval walled city or something along those lines

I have that settlement and Abernathy that are in my control but unbuilt plus there is that farm to the south that has the father and 2 kids that I don't control yet
