    2016 TRD OFF ROAD - BLACK
    Truck: 2016 Black TRD Off Road Double Cab 4X4. Black. Wheels, bumper caps and grill/bezel dipped. Badges and flat black TRD emblems are waiting to be put on.

    Stereo:
    Kept factory HU
    Added a 4 channel PAC LOC Pro
    Ran 4 gauge and a distribution block to back
    Removed cargo bins
    Covered back wall with auto carpet (black)
    Ran signal from LOC to JX250/1 and ran/connected all other wires
    Ran signal to JX400/4 et. al
    Replaced and Dynmatted door speakers. JL C3-650 in the front, C2-650 Coax in rear
    All new speaker wire
    Mounted x-overs in door - should have done back wall
    Ran bass knob for Sub amp
    Installed JL prefab. 10TW3 Truck Wedge
    Been tuning and setting levels of the speakers. Sounds great. Gets loud and stays clean. Will definitely be upgrading to a 500/1 amp this week. Amp I have works fine but it doesn't deliver enough whallop.

    Have a few pics of the back wall and the doors with the new speaks and FAST rings...and of the truck dipped. Will attach later.

    Will you guys pull up the decibels app on your phone and see what your stereos are hitting with your new setups? I did sound on Broadway in Nashville and had a DB meter and side-by-side compared the app to the meter and it was always dead on in the bar with a big PA and a band going

    Phones are not accurate at all to measure DB's. You'll want to buy a DB meter or get software designed to capture SPL.

    I figured it wouldn't be at all. I don't know that I care that much to buy anything to measure it though. I know it's not a comp level system.

    Sure do. My note 4 and iPhone5s show totally different numbers then the meter. I used to have access to a pro SPL meter and my $40 one was more accurate then the phones. Around 85db the phones started getting way off. 100+ they weren't even close. The meter is off around 1-2db when getting sounds over 110db. Below 100db it's accurate.
