So bought the truck in May and July rolls around and mother nature decides to do this.... Initial estimate: $8000 with new sheet metal for the roof and front end...:annoyed::frusty:20160701_164033.jpg 20160701_151716.jpg 20160701_164041.jpg 20160701_164048.jpg

That sucks with all the hail. It appears there was more hail this year than in the past I can remember. Are there any good body shop ya'll use? I called couple of them today, they are booked until Sept. I am waiting for our estimate on 2015 Outback

...^^^... My Ridgeline got hit with hail like that (not as bad) and USAA paid about $4,400.00 after deductible.

I've heard replacing the sheet metal is a bad idea. Some states would consider it salvaged. We are planning to do as much PDR as possible for the runner. Hopefully it all works out ok for you.[/QUOTE]

I haven't gotten over the one/first door ding given to me during that March blizzard... I can't imagine what it'd be like to get that much hail damage. I feel for you all.

Sadly, around here it not a matter of "if" but "when" you'll get hail damage.
