This alone would piss me off!! That guy is a f'n idiot...and that salesman-speak shit would have made me laugh and then get up and leave.

I paid $37K even for my Limited 4x4.

Yeah I wasn't buying what he was selling (i guess pun intended ha). I just said well appreciate your time and good to meet you guys but I'm out. Did the 37k you paid have additional doc/prep processing fees etc or were they in the 37k?

The $37K did not include any additional fees or taxes. They charged, I think, $599 for doc fees. Negotiating those, generally, is futile plus my deal was good enough, I wasn't splitting hairs.

Gotcha. I am getting the girl in Alabama to quote me on the 4x4. If she cant do it at that price I may reach out to you and get the contact for your guy in Atlanta. Thanks for your help!

No problem. They don't have a black 4x4, but they have a Magnetic Gray Metallic on order and will be there in a couple weeks. Unless you want the 4x2, of course.

    Let me known. Good luck.

Thanks! I am 90% sure now I should go with the 4x4. And for the color my Ford Ranger I've had for the last 10 years is a dark gray so that is the one color I unfortunately don't want. I think the Tacoma looks best in black just my opinion though (although the white and silver are not bad)

Hey man curious on your 4x4 Limited you just got. Did it have a Tonneau cover installed, tube rails etc any extra accessories in addition to the Limited package? Thanks! Matt

Wow!! Good job. 11% off MSRP is probably the best i've seen.

Here in CA, at most people are getting 1 grand under MSRP.

That is the icing on the cake! Would you say you had to put the screws to them and negotiate your ass off for days to get this deal overall? Or was it easy? Just curious

No, not at all. In fact, it was the easiest I've ever bought a vehicle. Their first offer was $37K. I asked for $500 more for my truck and they did it. Total negotiation lasted, literally, 20 seconds.

That is amazing. I hope it will be that way for me but the few I have already dealt with have been doling out the usual salesman BS you get. I am in no rush though and have the luxury of being patient for the right deal. If I cant get what I want around here I may have to get your sales persons contact email. I may PM you here soon to get that if its cool with you. These people sound like they are in the business of selling cars and not playing games. Even if I have to drive the 4 hours to Atlanta I think it may be worth it.

I am also considering a 4x4 TRD SPORT DCSB with Tech and Premium package no JBL. Maybe they have that if they don't have the Limited. I want the Sunroof and Tech package and I can always drop in a better aftermarket stereo and for the leather (which I really want) I can get the Clauzio leather seat covers. Not factory but they have a lot of positive feedback here and they are only $450 and from what I can tell look like factory once installed.

Anyways thanks for you help. Matt

You'll probably have to "order" your Sport. Whenever I search for that combo in the color I want, there's usually only one or two on cars.com. And that's nationwide. Never seen one on a lot in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Ive got a dealer telling me the 2016 Limited MSRP is $40,669 and Invoice is $38,214.20

Comes with TONNEAU COVER, V6 TOW PKG, FLOOR MATS, WHEEL LOCKS,

Offering it to me for $38,774.

From my research hes lying about MSRP and INVOICE.

About to call him out on it....

    Thoughts?

Ask to see the window sticker on the truck so you can verify MSRP. If he/s lying move on and don't deal with that dealership. I had the actual owner of a dealership here in Nashville sit down woith me and go over his "invoice" numbers on a TRD Sport and he was flat out lying to my face. I just said no thanks and left that dealership and wont be back.

You can get a 2017 Limited 3k off MSRP from a dealer in Ohio. I am too considering a 2016 though bc its same truck and greater savings and i am asking $4k off MSRP. This doesn't mean I can or will get it but I am throwing it out there. What state do you live in?

One thing to look for to is some dealers especially in the Southeast have a $699 Toyo Care added on as well as other options like Paint film protection etc. I only really see them on the Southeast dealers though GA, AL etc.
