We took highway 287 down to three forks to meet back up with i90.

In rapid city SD now. Went through a pretty good rain/wind/lightening storm which slowed us down, was hoping to make it further but oh well. Getting up early to go down to Mount Rushmore then planning to make it to Davenport Iowa for tomorrow night.

Yeah, still need to reboot one and replace a wheel bearing. Lisa will be doing most the work so it will be slow going.

Nah, just isn't a funny joke. It gets old reading that same opinion in all the long travel'd rig threads from guys on stock length suspension. :deadhorse:

    Yes
Yes and no, you can run into issues with your outer tie rod ends smacking your coils with a regular 8" CO when your wheel is close to lock and your spring can whack the CV too with just an out of the box 8".

Yup, heard that straight from Pat myself too, TC has a special King spec's for the TC +2 kits. It does not need a full 8" CO for just 11" ish of travel. You can tell visually by looking at the length of the lower rod end usually if someone is running the special CO or a full 8". The non race TC kit uses a 5-6" CO with a really long lower rod end because of that goofy lower uniball adapter that puts the LCA extra low.

A regular -ish 8" CO will work and that is what my Solo +2 kit was spec'd with - King 8" with 1" extended lower rod end and coil seat, reg top hat & Solo / taco coil bucket adapter. The key here is the extended lower rod end and raised coil seat to clear the axle

My CV's bind looooong before my CO's have drooped or my uniballs are maxed out...exploring RCV axles for extra droop travel now ( insert evil laughter here )
