600-1 wasn't bad. A few low hanging branches, but nothing bad. A couple nice places to pull over for the view.

My sons birthday is on the 4th, so I won't be able to do anything for a while. My weekends are pretty booked up at the moment. This coming weekend is the only weekend I'll have off for about a month.

 

So are those goodies in your hands or about to ship?

 

I have what is in the picture. The rear bumper w/pod lights, and the high clearance hitch. Just finished painting the hitch. Probably bolt them on and wire them up this weekend.

I will after I get them installed. Excited to get it done, but not excited enough to do it in the mid day heat.

 

It ain't that bad. Like 6 bolts?? I like the flush mount pods. I may be biased as I have them too. I did them on the inside of the of the shackle points though. And Brian. I think I'm going to build my rear bumper in September so mine will be available then. I'm not rushing to do a bunch of welding until it cools down a hair. That and I am moving this weekend (shoot me)

 

Installing it is the easy part, wiring everything up will be the time consuming part.

 

Wiring those 2 pods shouldn't take longer than about 15 mins.

 

Trying to decide weather I want to put them on a switch, or wire them to the reverse lights. Also have to wire the license plate lights.

 

I would put them to the reverse lights and put in a switch to interrupt if you want to not have them on. I however have them with scotch locks and have zero regrets. They are a huge help. You will have to get used to the camera with all the light they put out. I chose a low output pod for that very reason.

 

Yes I'd love to do my King Coilovers that day.

 

I would like to install my UCAs if I don't get around to it this weekend, which is not looking like I will.

I've seen some videos of people wheeling at Markita, the most recent was from 2014, but I dunno if they were there legally. I'm going to drive out there this evening, or maybe on my way to Talladega Sat. to check the entrance.
