Nice!! I really like the AFE`s! I ran their stage one on my 7.3L psd , then went to the stage 2 on my 7.3L psd. I`ll be buying AFE for the tacoma for sure!! Should be really easy to install, take pictures and make a good thread out of it!!

I don't think there are any. Basically, you undo the clips on the airbox to seperate the two halves. The stock air filter will come right out. Drop the aFe in making sure to pay attention to the orientation for correct airflow.

Someone was wondering about price? I had to pay about $100 Canadian for mine. I took the secondary filter out when I put my AFE in and it has increased the airflow / HP for sure. I can be going 30 kph / 20 mph and punch it and it will chirp the tires now in 2WD. (mines an automatic) And the sound............well it's music to my ears, it is starting to get a little growl on!!!!!!!!!!!! Really want to get a decent muffler as well. It all takes time.

HP, no way to tell without a dyno. MIGHT add 1-2hp. Throttle response, I feel that it made it snappier. However, no way to quantify this either.

I look at it this way: It's one of a series of mods, in my case the muffler too, that will reap some benefit of some kind (that I can't prove without a dyno). Worst case, I never have to buy another air filter so I save money.

Your not going to break any HP records with this that's for sure. Gas mileage is about the same. No worse and no better. I am still the best controller of MPG's. Horsepower I cannot say for sure seeing I have not done any before/after tests but if feels to have more responsive. And I think it might sound better. Not louder better, but "god it feels good to breathe" better. If that made sense.

You are not going to get into your truck and say DAMN! But it is a good behind the scene upgrade.
