Supposedly, the catalytic converter can be affected as well.

So just got home from the dealer. I have to go back tomorrow while the GM is there to make the final arrangements, but it appears that I will be going from an Inferno SR5 to a Black TRD Sport.

Yikes don't do it. The black paint will give you headaches alone! Plus that God awful suspension and hood scoop. Make them give you a TRD OR if you have to get something else. Better value down the road anyway

What's wrong with the suspension on the sports?

I believe it will be straight up, but that is why I have to go back tomorrow when the GM is there.

Well... Even if I have to shell out some, there is a hidden silver lining... The truck got hit in a roundabout late June, very nicely repaired, but still... So at least I'll have a truck without an accident report.

Isn't it the same suspension as on the SR5? It'll be mostly on road. Commuting 48 miles each way daily. Prolly go play 2-3 times a year, but mostly highway.

    Well, obviously... :D

But I haven't had a chance to drive the sport yet. If the suspension is the same as the SR5, then the suspension shouldn't be an issue for me. Just curious if they are the same, or if the Sport is stiffer than the SR5.

Sport is stiffer than sr5. Sr5 shares the same suspension as the limited.

Guess I'll just have to drive it, and let it be a game day decision. :mudding:

I was very happy with the SR5 ride. So, anyway - I have an appointment with the GM in a couple of hours.

Drive through some parking lots or rougher roads if any are in the area. I thought the sport bounced like a pogo stick
