Spotted at Lowes in Bardstown. Mercer Co. plates. Good looking truck, DB lift, 325/60/18 Nittos. Crummy picture but there was a minivan next to it so I couldn't get a good angle.

Any interest in going to Badlands ORP (northwest of Indianapolis In) this Saturday? Got a group of Expo Overlanders headed that way. Some in Toyota's. I MAY go if anyone from Southern Indiana/Kentucky is interested. Would be leaving Louisville area @ daylight. Must know before Thursday afternoon to make plans to meet up with other group.

I'm out on that. Should be getting parts in at the end of the week. So the truck will be getting torn down and operated on.

What's the verdict on the clutch problem?

Master and slave cylinder should be delivered today. I'll start working on it tonight or tomorrow. Water pump and timing belt kit should be on the front porch too after work.

Gonna spend some time on my truck Friday too. Looking at the cab mounts and radiator core support mounts to see what sort of shape they're in. May be changing them out soon. I'd like to toss a 1" body lift on at the same time. I HATE body lifts. I did a 2" body lift to a Jeep CJ I had once upon a time. Nearly every body mount ripped out within a few months due to the extra flexing the body and frame did afterwards. Since I bought this truck my dream has been to put 35"'s on it. Looking @ 33"'s next more'n likely....But there's that dream.....

Dream sequence on temporary hold due to GIANT doctor bills yet to be paid. Soon though....VERY soon. Down to under 4K left to pay off.

Looking @ body mounts....Drivers side has needed 1/2" spacer with stock coils, and 3/4" worth with OME coils just to sit level. If it IS the cab mounts/radiator mounts sagging, and that would level things, I could put 1/2" or 3/4" on passenger side to get 3 to 3-1/2" total lift...May have to do aftermarket UCA's then, but what the hell.....Then a 1" body lift and some :sawzall:love, Big tires here we come! Every time I look at my truck I have nostalgic flashbacks to my '84 Tojo that had 38"'s and finally 40"'s. Can't do THAT big, but 35"'s sure look awesome on 2nd genners.

Badlands looks boring. Redbird or Interlake!

What I'm hoping makes it "un-boring" is the fact there'll be about a dozen people in know @ Badlands with their trucks. Got a group of Hoosiers headed that way on the 14th.

I've been all over Interlake on a dirt bike. From what I remember about it, once you've been there for 20 minutes, you've seen a good sample of all it has to offer.

Dirt Devil trip is now officially November 12th. We're starting to get a good picture of who all is committed to going. So far a small group from South Carolina and Florida, plus a few of us from the Louisville/Southern Indiana area. We will give out more details as they come together, but it looks like an early (Saturday) morning meet up in the general area (of Dirt Devil) then a ONE DAY run. We will try to nail down meeting point, as well as more details as they develop....then post here (and a few other forums) I'm working on a groups "sponsor" who will hopefully be willing to foot the bill for either tee shirts OR hats. This trip will be VETERANS DAY weekend (Veterans Day is actually Friday) I am hoping to have a couple disabled Vets with us, and the hats/shirts will commemorate the holiday. My hope is to turn this into a yearly event. Please post here with your intentions so I can get an idea on shirts or hats. That isn't a done deal yet, but I'm working on it!
