I didn't get my "King of the BS" for nothing

 

Speaking from experience, i had a locked Prerunner years ago and while it was way more capable than an unlocked one, it doesn't compare to 4x4...especially a locked 4x4

 

I think most of the trail is fire road with 4x4 side trails. We would be hitting probably all side trails. So it would be best if we can get another 2wd guy so your not left alone.

If you like offroading even a little and you can afford it there's no question that you should get 4x4. Their is no comparison. A 2wd even with a locker is so limited in what it can do.

It's true, we are very limited. I was in @lashingbar 's shoes and decided to throw money at my truck. I love my prerunner, but if I could do it over again I'd have gotten a 4x4

 

This bitch this morning. I'm driving to work. I'm behind a black Camry. She's staring at her phone when the light turned green so I honked and she went after a few seconds.

I change lanes to get into the lane I need to be in for an upcoming turn. I am now two cars behind her. There is an intersection where the road kinks. It goes left and then right within 50 feet. She turns left like all the rest of the cars. She finishes her turn in the left lane, which goes straight. She pulls to the limit line at the red light and stops. The car between us ends their turn into the right lane, which now has a green arrow to turn right. The car between us passes her and turns. As I'm coming up to her, she hits her blinker and starts coming into the right lane. I'm right beside her now, and I hit the horn, I can see her through my drivers window because I am right beside her. She looks over at me, directly side by side as she keeps coming over. I'm glad she had her window up because I didn't and I yelled some obscenities. She keeps coming over, while looking at me so I stuff the thing up onto the sidewalk and nail it to get out from insider her. She just followed me down the street like nothing happened. I was doing the speed limit, 30mph and she starts flying up to me. She had her head resting on her head as if she was tired and bored. I brake checked her because she was flying up on me so fast. She woke up and then stayed back for a few blocks until I turned into my work.

what the shit, lady? I was so afraid she was going to smash in the rockers of my doors while she was beside me. really got me worked up

 

This is why i have handfuls of change in my cup holder that would have pissed me off so bad.. woulda made it rain on her car....... another good one is if you got an asshole behind you turn on your wipers and make it spray on them

 

I hate shit like that. I probably narrowly avoid getting hit by idiots not paying attention or running red lights/stop signs at least several times per week. Just yesterday, I was leaving work and driving down a main road going 40mph. It's two lanes, one going each direction. This lady pulls up to a stop sign at a street running perpendicular to the one I'm going down. She wants to turn left to get into my lane. I see her stop, I figure she sees me and is waiting until I pass (obviously I have the right of way). NOPE. She decides that now is a good time to start to merge onto the lane I'm coming down and sees me at the last second, slams her brakes and I swerve nearly hitting the guard rail to my right. AND SHE HONKS AT ME WTF

Shit like this happens on the regular, it's so depressing knowing that in all likelihood, it's just a matter of time before someone ruins my truck driving like a moron.

I've even sacrificed a few quarters before for a few jackasses in particular

 

Haha, that's a good one. Or a well-aimed toss through an open window lol (kidding, that'd probably get someone killed).

One thing I don't do anymore is the old brake check routine...I had a crazy, 'roid raged a-hole go nuts on me once after I brake checked him for being inches behind me on the freeway. He tried running me off the road and very nearly did.

 

lol years ago i had some dude try to cut me off to get on a freeway on ramp i would not let him in.. he still managed to get in since i did not want to run into him so he got infront of me and i flipped him off he went then stopped his car got out in the middle of the street approached my vehicle. I had a big pipe wrench in backseat held it out window and he ran back to the car... lol wtf is wrong with people.

Me too....feels like I've been so busy on the weekends lately

 

I shudder to think about how much money I've put into this truck since I got it 4 months ago lol

 

Both work and family have been draining for me this week. Think I'm going to just wake up early on Saturday and run the backside of Rowher.
