Which map are you using?

 

I have both an Abra and a Kadabra - it takes 25 to evolve an Abra to a Kadabra and another 100 to get Alakazam. I haven't seen any of those outside of Vegas

I have 30 Abra candies. Should I evolve my Abra to another Kadabra or wait until I get 70 more candies (assuming I even find anymore) and get an Alakazam? My Kadabra is 165 with half arc, my Abra is 160 with full arc (I caught them both wild)

The only issue I have is pokemon go doesn't seem to like being shuffled around. It wants to be the only active thing on my phone. So when I go to the map in safari (internet browser for any non-iphone (L)users) and then back to the game it usually kicks me out and I have to restart it. If I can do it quick enough it won't have any issue but out of the 10 times I did it I got booted probably 3. Which is enough to annoy me

I watch my 4 month old daughter on Thursdays till my wife gets off work which is still 7hrs away. The urge to go and catch them all is killing me since I'm in the middle of a dratini grind. With it being 100+ out its not worth taking her in the stroller either so here I am on my couch with no mons to catch.

My wife from the backseat yesterday goes oh look a jolteon like its nothing as she catches one (new to the game lvl6) I'm like wtf and immediately pull to the side of the road (residential area) and catch it as well, mine ended up being 405cp hers 29cp lol.

I've only caught 5 in that evolution. 2 in the desert, and 3 along a bayou. I've caught them in the morning time (pre 8am)

 

Abras are sleepy pokemons...

I was catching them all over Vegas at all times of the day. I don't remember where I got a Kadabra..lemme look

 

I've got Abra that pop up around my house occasionally. There is a house across the street that has psyduck and magikarp spawn in their back yard constantly... Too far from the road.

 

They must both be sleepy because I caught them before 8.

Alakazam must be the night owl.

 

The little maps aren't working but from the date caught I know I was still in Vegas...They must be desert dwellers...

 

I get psyducks all the time over here. There are little ponds along the golf course and I guess that is enough water for them and Magikarps to spawn there. It is usually around this empty lot up the street

 

Pokevision doesn't do anything for me

 

nothing for your area or you went to a spot where it said there were pokemon?
