I'm always down for that. That's my all-time favorite restaurant. We could do that and then cruise to a Braves game afterwards before they jump ship to Cobb Co next year...later in the season when it's not 140 fucking degrees outside.

Agreed! We'll have to plan it out, maybe even tailgate a little prior to the game after we eat at 6FU

I don't mind the outdoors honestly. I prefer it. I can figure out lots of touristy things to do on the internet - but that's why I'm asking you guys - the people that know the area. I want to know the best places to hike, fish, eat, camp, drive - I want the insider scoop :)
Why does it not surprise me that your suggestions are about food...:wink::hungry:

As to all the fishing etc etc stuff ask @dwalden2

    Cause I'm fat :pout:

Georgia has a great state parks system, so you could check out those...and they're everywhere. The wife and I usually frequent the ones in North Georgia but there are some in middle Georgia where you'll be, too. I'm in Butts Co. and there's Indian Springs State Park here, the oldest state park in the nation. Our "local" eateries are Fresh Air BBQ and Cook's Lunchroom. All of our trail-riding is mostly on private land, though.

World of Coke is pretty cool. I wasn't impressed with the Georgia aquarium. But, it's an aquarium...they're all gonna be pretty similar.

She knows I'm all about that fishin life. She's probably tired of the snapchats of me in the river and holding fish

I went to a pretty bad ass aquarium when I lived in Japan - so if this one is just average...I may not do that unless my friend wants to take her daughter lol.

and as for getting tired of the snapchats.....never:wink:

It's pretty big, it's cool to go once and then maybe once or twice every 5 years or so. But if you're in Atlanta you may as well check it out

Yea, if you're in ATL, you might as well go. It's the largest aquarium in the states, isn't it?

well according to an article I just read - it WAS the largest in the world LOL. The one in Okinawa I went to was #3. Both are one of the few to be able to house whale sharks. But some place in China apparently took the title from GA.

Yea, I thought they did. I knew it was the largest in the US at least. I just wasn't all that impressed personally. But, since you'll be there, might as well check it out.

Btw, I went to Academy and loaded up on some trout stuff. Basically bought the same crap as last time: couple jars of powerbait (rainbow and hot pink), a few rooster tails, and I ended up buying a cheap little $30 ultra-light pole, too. I figured I could use it for bream and crappie when I'm not in the mountains, so why not!? We're leaving here around 4 today.

We're not really going up there to trout fish, but when in Rome! I just like to catch enough to fill up a gallon bag to bring back home. Definitely no a trophy hunter...that's what bass are for
