Haha, yeah there is a lot of things we as customers would like to do to management that actually lines up with what us techs also believe.

We had no problem getting my fluid level checked under warranty, it's all in how it gets written up. I try to help customers as much as I can. I've worked for free on trying to minimize the dreaded 4Runner Pro front suspension clunk, and told customers to just wait, something will come down the lines. Sure enough, a fix gets created.

What some people don't realize is that not all parts on their vehicles are made by toyota, toyota gets to inform the company that made whatever part, then they get to sort it out.

It takes time. Not everything is an easy fix.

Dealers should help more though, part of the problem is techs are getting lazy, and customers are impatient.
Seriously, don't wait at the dealership if you have a noise complaint or drivability concern, haha. Also, we don't stock every part for every car, it takes a day to get things, usually.

I've read countless nightmare stories about what some people are experiencing with their trucks, and wish they lived closer to here so I could help them.

For now, I'll provide my insight here and read what's going on and try to help in whatever way I can.

I got the blue from my Yeti SB75 which also seems to match the Bilstein shock cover that is viable in the rear. :)

One other small thought you should see what it looks like with the montana(outline) being under the writing. Also not sure if your having someone do this already but CBoy808 did mine and it turned out great! Also here is a quick drawing i did (not the best artist) of what i was thinking.

So after about a week of having my tranny fluid filled and extra radiator clips removed (thank you texas...) I am still experiencing a squeak from my front right wheel/suspension. Has anyone else experienced this? I am taking her in tomorrow to have the TSB performed and the wheel looked at. Just curious what the specific problem might be. I am by no means an auto mechanic and don't want to sound like a complete dumbass.

Starting to get my import equipment decals on center caps for my Fn fx pros on my BBP TRD Sport. Now I just need tires and the lift installed.

Will probably go with the passenger rated 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT2 but I'm afraid the tread will be too reserved for me. I like the extreme tread better, but it is a much heavier load rating, harsher ride, and 15000 less mileage rating. Anyone have any experience with the at2s passenger toyos, I'm a tire distributor so I pay like nothing for them with free freight, and these are 35/tire cheaper than the lts, and 110/tire less than the r/t.

    Thoughts?

    TRD rims, spacer leveling

Picked my truck up from the dealer. They agreed to let me keep my TRD rims and the tires from my FJ trade in. I also kept my red Optimus battery. Additionally I got them to install a spacer leveling kit up front so I could run my wrangler 285/75/16 tires while I save for a real lift.

I think the TRD rims really offset the grill. I am still planning to black part of the grill, but it sure looks better now.

Oh yeah, that big tire fit under the truck in the standard spare spot.

While it is ideal to let it cool for a 100% accurate measurement, you can still check it at higher temperatures, thermal expansion of fluids is what they are trying to offset (its obviously higher when hotter, heat expands the oil molecules)
If your trans is 2 quarts low or even 1 quart pulling the plug will have NO fluid dripping out so its still a good means to be able to tell if its grossly under filled.
The temperature being high raises the height of the fluid by a small amount, but not enough to replicate an extra quart of fluid, actually its closer to a 1/2 quart discrepancy.

Just a little info to clear things up.

What wheels will those caps go on?

IMO, and this is just IMO - the TRD logo looks a bit small and may not look well on the wheel.
