So I'm only going to be able to go to the gym one more day this week (today) b/c we're gong to the mountains this weekend. I still need to hit triceps, chest, and legs for the week, so the plan is to do some kind of crazy chest/legs superset and then burn out triceps afterwards. Thoughts?

You should superset Chest/Tri together. Then do some legs, or do legs first then the chest/tri superset.

Closegrip bench (db or bb) superset with pushups (close grip/reg/incline) will make your arms feel like noodles

Anyone up for helping me out with some body fat measurement questions? I've decided I miss a military community and want to commission in the medical field (which I already work in) Anyways I've always just squeaked by BF in ROTC in college and I've been stuck a percent away for a few months now. Each time I go back to lifting I bulk up like the hulk gain weight which is muscle then my body fat shoots up cause my glutes and thighs get bigger. Now I am just running and swimming dropped down in weight and body fat but I in the past few months I have made no progress and I am worried about going back to lifting and bulking up again. FYI I have always been large and in college I rocked a six pack and still didn't make weight so dropping another 25 lbs to make weight I don't think is possible if I don't want to look like a noodle.

Tried atkins for a bit. I've been eating at a calorie deficit and I lose between .5 and 1 lbs a week as long as I don't weight lift. My runs include interval running 3 days a week and I swim at intervals too.

I measure my food and drinks daily to stay under 1700 calories a day which has been working weight wise by I'm convinced the weight lose is just muscle mass flying out the window. I'm open to changing up the diet though as I just monitor calories at this time.

Despite being perfectly fine with my body as it is I want to cut down another 3 percent.

Army version says I am 35/36 percent max is 34 but their 32 is my goal. That means I need to drop another 6 inches or so between my waist and hips.
