Who wants to do an Allagash trip with New England outdoor next year? I think I may have to join a group like that if I will ever do it! all my friends are popping out kids and getting injured.

What do you mean? Whitewater rafting, canoeing or 4 wheeling?

Wow a week straight kayaking. I know I'm not in good enough shape for that!!! Lol

Plus I have ocean kayaks. Unsinkable but not the most efficient

So for those of us that are local to each other is there any plan to caravan up to Henniker or do we have a meeting place up there yet?

I'd be down to caravan if I don't go up the night before and camp out. We're practically neighbors afterall

i'm going to call the birches today to see what they have available. depending on how many total we end up with (and what there is to choose from) we could do one of the 4 bedroom cabins. or if it just ends up being your family and my friend do individual rooms or whatever.

just stumbled across this thread. gotta follow a bit more closely i think, first truck and only been wheeling a few times in other trucks. i came from the sports car/autocross/track day crowd so its a bit different but similar idea. dump foolish money into vehicle to go beat it up just because i can. i live on nh seacoast and will hopefully finish up the lift end of things this weekend. love to get to know the woods, just tough starting something so new

Actually I had the evo and needed a daily so I bought the WRX. It blew up so I got rid of it for the truck. Haven't looked back since.

one thing i learned from years as a service adviser, subaru has some of the most loyal customers. you hear so much great about them, but by far the most condemned vehicle i saw through the shop. ringlands are known issue and also head gaskets, but i know hes stressing about lower end bearings in his 15 wrx. already has him thinking about trading at 30k. what other engine has as many known fairly common major engine issues? add that to the chassis issues in new england rot and idk... not my cup of tea.

back on topic, whose wheeling soon? disappointed the only scratches on my truck so far are from a turkey attack and if wreck my oe tires, it will motivate me to buy some good ones. henniker sounds fun and relatively tame, is that a close group going or open to whoever?

count me in! realistically, what do you suppose the chances of tearing more than one highway tread tire out there is? can toss a few extra spares in the bed, but that will leave a vehicle in the driveway on cinder blocks for the weekend o_O
