    hit leg day today.

first workout starting off was squats. did 135x15, 185x10, 205x7, 225x5, 245x2. Last time I did squats I didnt attempt 245 so its def progress in my book. And it was the first thing I did so not everything was warmed up and what not.

Following that I did seated leg extensions, (shoulder exercise), hamstring curls, (shoulder exercise), seated calf extensions, (shoulders), hack squats, leg press.

    All in all, good day.

That's what I do on a normal day, brah. It's not working out unless you're doing a 7-machine circuit

Very true. Dunno why I didn't think of that. I usually do chestntris together anyway. I might just do my regular chestntri's workout, but instead of doing 4 chest exercises, then 3 triceps, I'll do chest/tri/chest/tri/etc to speed it up and then just bang out some legs afterwards.

I really gotta get my chest growing now that @manethon called me a bitch. I seriously went home after the gym and evaluated it...

    Manethon picking on me:

I'm not sure, but IIRC, doesn't the military go by the BMI standard like most doctor's offices? That crap doesn't really apply to people who lift because it only factors in your height and weight. People who lift are going to weigh more than the average joe that's the same height as them. By the BMI standards, at 5'11'', 195 and ~14% bf, I'm considered obese.

Not sure if that's relevant for anything you're asking, but thought I'd share it.

No need to superset. You can be done in an hour/hour fifteen.

Start with squats. Then bench. Then hamstring curls. Then incline DBs. Then leg press. Then tricep push down. Then call it a day.

I'm right there with you today. I was doing shoulders and forgot my headphones so I was subjected to having to talk to people since open ears = come bother me please...

I was doing military press and the guy who works at the gym (he's actually pretty cool, I just hate talking to people in general) came over and he said 'You've got some huge front delts' and I'm all like :bananadance::militarypress::muscleflexing: :humble:but then he finishes 'but where you rear delts at' and pokes me where they should be and then I'm all like :bananadead::bananadead:

So I pivoted my shoulder day to nothing but rear delt work. Face pulls, reverse shrugs, scap traps, rear delt flys (both DB and cable)

That's not enough for me, bra. I was thinking more of something like this:

    flat bench
    triceps pushdowns
    incline db bench
    overhead rope pulls
    decline db flys
    overhead triceps extensions
    svend press
    skullcrushers

    front squats
    Romanian dl
    leg extensions
    leg curls

Prob skip calves and abs if it drags out too long, but I think if I just do 1 min breaks and stay moving, I'll get done pretty quick. An hour and a half is the max amount of time I wanna be in the gym. I'm usually in and out in an hour on a regular day.

I think its dumb too. The Marines recently changed their policy that if you can get a 285 or higher on the PT test then you no longer have weight limits or body fat limits.

I think its dumb. I kick ass at everything I do in climbing, sports etc. I just have to figure out how to get smaller and tighter rather than bigger I suppose.

Arnold would not approve of skipping calves

Yeah, I've got military friends that bitch about it all the time. They'll be in great shape and the military will be like, "lose 45 lbs, fatass!"

I know...I'll do them, too I guess lol.

Not sure if srs. 4 workouts per bodypart is pretty standard...

1/2 srs 1/2 jk brah. It is standard, but I think the same gainz can be accomplished with fewer exercises. Just my opinion, and you know what they say about those...I mean, do you know? Because I am having trouble coming up with something witty here.

@zacharypaul89 not that we are the same size but might help me...what size is your Arnold numero uno shirt and how does it fit you? I'm about to order the musclebox that had it :bananadance:

@LVTheMadness11 did you see they are starting a 'Miss Musclebox' for the ladies who lift

I'm not lifting and my only work outs are cardio for the most part so I am using the calorie cut in attempts to shed mass. I haven't been looking at protein for now.

Also there is an always active code for 25% off apparently "MUSCLEBOX25" - don't know if it works with subscriptions but I'm about to get 2 boxes for $40 total as soon as Sack chimes in on the shirt fitment...

Mine was a medium and it fit perfectly.......and by perfectly, I mean, tight enough to show off the guns, but no so tight that my gut hangs out
