I definitely didn't want the danger, but we really need some rain.

Last week one of the storms that never gave us a drop knocked out our power. I don't know how long it was out. I went to bed.

I lived in Scottsdale / McCormick Ranch area back in 1985 / 86 it was hot but got used to it fast .I also spent some time working in Bullhead city and the warmest day was only 126degrees

I also remember having to wait for the temps to drop at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix as my flight was delayed 4 hrs due to excessive heat . When it gets above 115 degrees planes cant take off due to no lift as the air won't flow over the wings safely

Hope it all goes well for her. I couldn't imagine being that big

Who you calling a fogey?? :smack: :quickdraw: Congrats on the retirement

You've got that right. Lived in Phoenix for almost 3 years

 afternoon boys... stay cool out there. Heard on the news a bit ago, a 74 yo guy up in Laurens Co died from the heat. A/C was out and first responders said it was 100* inside the house

We have a Hospital and Health Campus in Scottsdale and Jax, Fl. Seems like every time we have a Face to Face going down there in the summer and they come up here in the Winter. Seems kind of backwards to me!! There can be some humidity in the Valley, Scottsdale sometimes but nothing like Florida that is for sure. Although think we would give the SE a run for the money here today. After 6 heat strokes and passing out more than 20 times of heat exhaustion wondering just how far North do I have to move to escape the heat?!

Awesome!! Great timing and well done.

Very nice. What equipment did you use to take that pic? Please tell me it was not your phone.
