I think I'll let you guys battle it out. Lol The looks killer but I'm still more fond of the Brute Force Fab bed rack.

Cheap steel glossy OD green. Two 5 gallon cans with a spout. My Trasharoo has some fading going on. I'll be out of town until Aug 2nd, but I can get pics for you if you remind me when I get back.

If I still had every dime I've spent on parts for my truck, I could buy another one. Or 4wd swap it 3 or 4 times.

Oh you didn't wanna just completely take over his thread? That's the only reason I came there. Haha

Yes I get low boost flutter. I'm on wastegate spring pressure right now at 11 psi. If I barely get into boost it chirps, like a flutter sound but chirps instead. If I get into the gas at all it flutters and if I hit near or at full boost its a crisp ppppsssssshhhhhh sound. Sounds really good. Not too loud either. I hate loud BOVs. Precision 5558b billet wheel ball bearing turbo. Starts spooling around 2500 rpms, full boost (just a guess cause no boost gauge) 4500 rpms. It's very responsive too. Coasting at 3500-4000 in 6th gear even and hit the gas it's instant full boost. Catless header to 3" downpipe to 2.5" catless overpipe and front pipe to stock resonator catback. For now I'm gonna keep the 2.5" and replace the stock catback with a straight 2.5" back. The car on 11 psi on 93 makes about 320whp and same tune on e85 makes about 380whp. I'm gonna run a high boost map at probably 14 psi to be conservative and put down about 430-440 whp. Most people run their high boost at 16 and make 480ish.

    Here's the kit ....... http://www.pandlmotorsports.com/product-p/pl-brz100.htm

Everything is ceramic coated. Already bought an ACT clutch with 347tq rating (should hold for the power I'm gonna make) and a 11 pound flywheel. Also got a AEM failsafe and gonna have a dual catch can (crank case and intake manifold) before the tune.

That sounds like an insanely fun car. Is the wastegate dumped to atmosphere or routed back into the exhaust? Dumped to atmosphere 2.5" would be more than enough for the numbers you're talking about, and even routed back to the exhaust you'd be okay, but might get a little creep. Do you have to switch between tunes for the different fuel? I haven't messed with any of the E85 stuff or turbo cars for that matter in a very long time. Tial makes excellent products, but some people like to overspring the BOV so it doesn't flutter at low boost. I'd rather have a little flutter and not stall the turbo or slam forced air into my throttle body when it closes.

Oh it's fun in stock form with the kit so I know it's gonna be awesome on my car being lowered with much better grip. Dump tube goes into the downpipe now but I'll be changing that. The guy who owned the car previously wanted it as stock as possible so that included a super quiet exhaust. I'd rather have the sound at WOT and the extra power. It's not like driving normal with open downpipe or anything. Haha and yeah I'm gonna see how the 2.5" handles the power and probably stick with it because basically all I need right now is about a 4' test pipe and the exhaust is 2.5" straight piped. I'm also worried about the 3" being super loud and causing more low end lag. The car now feels fantastic and is very responsive and I don't wanna change that for 20hp more at 7k rpms.

I have a flex fuel kit that adjusts the tune based on the ethanol content present. It pulls timing mainly. Through the Ecutek ecu system you can also tune in psi levels based on ethanol content and do boost by gear and things like that. The old days of having to empty a tank and completely fill with e85 are gone. I can mix gases and make whatever content I want between 10% and 85%. Sure makes road trips much easier.

Yeah tial is top notch for sure. The BOV I have is one of the best on the market as far as flow in and out goes. You also pick the spring based on the cars idling vacuum pressure so it's spot on everytime. I guess you could still put a stiffer spring in but then you get that blowback that you are referring to and that just makes no damn sense

I tell people all the time I think these are hands down the best new tuner car to come to market in a long time. That's going to be a well balanced setup too. I'm glad to see you aren't trying to get ridiculous power numbers too. Too many people get wrapped up in trying to make as much power as they can without looking at the car as a whole. 2.5" mandrel bent piping with an open wastegate should easily be good for 400whp. I happen to love the sound of an open wastegate, but I know a lot of people hate it. This is going to be an awesomely fun car.

Whats up ladies/fellas. My wife and i are taking a trip up to Tennessee July 23-28. We will be around the Chattanooga area and i was wondering if there was anything cool going on or anything you guys could recommend as a must do/see. Local toyota meets, overland style sights, cool lakes to go paddle board/kayak, etc. Thanks in advanced.

PS: My wife is pregnant so nothing too gnarly

    My truck by the way....

Gid, what was the stock gear ratio on your truck and did you ever run them with 33s?

This truck has 4.30 diffs and seems slightly over geared on 31" tires. Wondering how terrible it would be on 33s before regearing.
