I have a 11 4x4 v6 tow package..etc A/C charge looks good but the output is a little lacking.I live in north georgia. But..even my 93 v6 P/U had cooler A/C. Is there any way to tweek the temp of the cold airflow within the system. before messing with the Freon charge???? All help appreciated guys...im sure someone has input.

The first thing you should check is the Refrigerant Charge of 134a. It cannot be too much or too little or you will have cooling issues. .

I live in coastal SC and the heat and humidity are terrible here. But my AC will freeze you out. I suggest you start there and make certain the charge is correct. Then work from that point onward or you will just be chasing your tail.

My A/C is ice cold. Even when its over 100 outside, you cant drive for long on max without freezing your tits off.

I've been noticing as of late my 15 will for sure blow warmer air at idle, and periodically while driving and even when it does blow cold it isn't that cold. Only been doing it here lately and used to blow ice cold. I will add my issues to the list of things to check while its at the dealer this saturday

Power washing a condenser is a good way to ruin it by bending the fins. Use a garden hose and take your time.

I agree with both of you. I have a 2014. It has never been as good as i think it should be.
It works but takes a while to get the truck cold. And at idle it is real hard to cool the truck(initial startup). Mine has never been touched and new enough that it's not the freon. Maybe we just got unlucky? After a good 20 minuets to half hour or so the truck is fine but takes all of that to get where it should be

My girls Nissan Rouge gets ice cold and quick. WTF ...

You say "new enough that it is not the freon" but that doesn't make much sense. A single nicked o-ring on the assembly line and you have a leak that will haunt you reasonably soon depending on how bad the leak is. There is no age limit that precludes a low R134a charge level. A manifold gauge set will tell the tale, i.e. under-charged, or a defective Tx valve, etc...

    Depends on the year. :)

Pre-1995 most used R12 (Freon). Which was a much better refrigerant for producing cold air.

That is why I said " freon is no longer used ".

The person I replied to has a 2014.

I do have for a living. First make sure you cabin filter is clean. Second clean your condensor coil. 3 check pressue again. If it is over or under you wont get maximum effects.

Funny, I have a '14 and A/C worked fine until a month ago when it just stopped blowing cold air. Took it to the dealer and they said it was empty. Did a vacuum test, passed, refilled and put dye in so if it happens again they can check. However, it doesn't get as cold as it did when working before. It does get cold, but takes longer. I'm also going to take it back to have them check it again (warranty) so not a big deal for me. Cabin filter is habitually changed and condenser is clean so that's not the issue.

So, is there an easy way to check the 134a level myself?

Is the condenser coil separate from the rest of the radiator?

    .
Yes. Alot of parts houses have 134a guages. Some refrigerant cans come with them too from parts house. An yes the coil is seperate. You cant miss it under the hood.
