Item: Borla 2016 Tacoma Catback 140680
    Price: $200 Local Pickup
    Location: Anaheim, CA

For sale is a used (one month) Borla 140680 catback ($640 MSRP). It WORKS fine, it sounds great, HOWEVER this particular one they sent me had a fitment issue between two of the pipes. I had to take it to a muffler shop and have them expand the pipe. Expanding the pipe caused two tiny cracks at the reliefs on the pipe which I had to have the shop weld over (see pictures of tack welds). I took the issue up with Borla and they sent me a brand new one free of charge and didn't need me to return this one. I have the new one on my truck now.

I noticed, when I was uninstalling this one, that there is a small leak from the clamped area of the pipe that was expanded and tack welded. You will need to have it welded all the way around in order to have it be 100% leak free. This (and the fact that it was slightly defective originally) is the reason I have it priced low. The defect did not affect the sound or fitment to the vehicle in any way.

Feel free to post or PM me if you have any questions!

dam wish you weren't in Cali. Been looking at this same exhaust for my 2016. Question do you have a DC or AC? I know the fitiment is different between the two.

I have a DCSB, I was under the impression DC vs AC didn't matter, but short bed vs long bed did. I think if you have a long bed they have an extra piece you need to get.

I know I have a LB since its 6ft. I thought every AC has a LB though never seen one with a SB maybe on 2nd gens. Would looks funny. Anyway you would be interested in shipping or local only?

Another person asked about shipping. I would be sure how to go about shipping this, I have never dealt with shipping anything this size. My main concerns would be if it is cost prohibitive for the buyer, how to package it and if it can be shipped in a box. Do you have experience with it?

I've never shipped anything that large before, if it was me I'd probably just use the same box you received it in if you still have it and pack it with protective measures like some shrink/bubble wrap especially at the ends so the exhaust doesn't poke through and get damaged even more. If not you'll just have to find a larger box. Uhaul, FedEx, and UPS sometimes have a appropriate size but most likely I think you'll have to use 2 large boxes and tape them together. I usually ship items I sell to people through UPS they do a pretty good job. I understand if it's too much of a hassle for you. If you can't sell it locally just pm me let me know thanks bud. Zip is 75149 if you want to get a quote on shipping to here

It no longer fits in the same box as it is all together. Once you clamp the 3 pieces together you can't get it apart again. Well, I probably could with tools, but I don't want to damage anything. I'll keep trying locally and possibly look into shipping. Thanks for the offer.

Also interested if you decide to unclamp (shouldn't damage anything) and ship.
