I bet you'll be fine on 33s. Might be a TAD under, but should still be better than 32s on stock gearing in your second gen.

Rock City is kind of neat. The Aquarium is always there. There's a pretty good walking ghost tour if you're into that sort of thing. I can give you some restaurant recommendations. Drive up to the top of Lookout Mountain and go to the park up there. The International Towing and Recovery Museum is awesome...go there even if the wife doesn't want to. ;)

Nope. I just went back and looked at it. Nowhere in that picture does it give it away.

Unfortunately for you, it will be a couple months before I do that. Also, aren't your wheels 17s?

Dammit Gid that sounds fun as hell. That should more than enough power in something that light. I've always wanted to ride in one of those cars. The sound of an open wastegate is hard to beat. I still remember the first big turbo car I rode in, it scared the shit out of me when it cracked open haha

Got a question for you winch savvy folks. I remember seeing/reading on threads here where people recommend with new smittybilt (IIRC) winches to take them apart and switch out the grease with a higher quality one. Am I correct in remembering this is with smitty winches? The Cruiser has a smitty xrc9500 and was looking to see if I need to pull it off and do this. It's brand new, appears to never have been spooled out. Still has some plastic on it actually.

That is correct. Take it apart and clean all the crappy cheap grease out of it, then replace it with a good synthetic high-temp grease. I used Lucas Red n Tacky in mine, and it seems to be working great.

Doesn't seem like it should be very difficult. I'll start looking for a write up on the tear down

I think it took me maybe 30 minutes with a few cans of brake kleen and a couple of rolls of shop towels. Don't forget latex gloves either.
