    I've been lurking on this thread for some time. This caught my attention. I'm starting to plan a trip (with date not set at this point) for Dirt Devil. I've got a small group of 1st timers interested in going, plus a couple disabled vets that can't get themselves into anything too challenging. Dirt Devil sounds ideal. I've even got a "local" who's very familiar with the place interested in going too. From what I know, it's a one day trip, no camping spots along the way, and in the words of a Dirt Devil veteran, "Subaru Friendly". Keep me up to date on any plans you make. We might make this a real adventure!

    I say let's do veterans day weekend. The more I look at Expo weekend, the more unsure I am about going to that in October. Just looked up pricing this morning, holy sheeeet. I'd be down with Columbus day weekend too. Any banker holiday weekend is good with me. I'll make it a four day by taking friday too.

    I've got an October trip brewing.....Going to Black Mountain for 3 days. The Dirt Devil trip WAS tentatively scheduled for sometime in September, but no one has spoke up yet with any opinions on that time line. Dirt Devil is not too far from Land Between The Lakes in Kentucky/Tennessee. That's got quite a few camp grounds as well as some major 4wd trails and a TON of dirt roads.

    Our Dirt Devil trip will be a 1 or 2 day trip due to several of the participant's "special circumstances". Would like to have my group and yours to meet up though!

    As of yesterday, I've got the itch to adult and possibly maaaaaaybe look at purchasing a home. Gotta pay down some debt in the upcoming months. Gotta keep my trips cheap for the next six months.
