Trailer brakes help

    I wasn't saying he shouldn't install his brake controller. I was saying (specifically) that it is POSSIBLE to pull a 1 ton trailer without trailer brakes if you keep your speed under control (and you won't be driving in slow and go). He was stressed about showing up to pick up the trailer and not having his brakes working, I was saying "don't worry about it, you can get home and get it sorted out".

    Good deal OP, glad you found the plug and got it going. When I ordered my controller from etrailer, I asked them to include the wiring for a 2014 Taco. You wouldn't find it in a local parts store, only a stealership.

    Billstines with 885 coils 2”aal Lce header, pro dry drop in filter, charcoal filter removal, light bar in grill, ditch lights, yaesu dual band radio, and a bunch of other junk
    Yes and everything worked great. The brakes are a must. They really help. I definitely broke them in. 16 hr round trip and Ohio can suck a big one!!!! Worst roads I have ever seen. Pretty sure they owe me an alignment.
