Eric and Lisa wheeled the trial out while I spotted. The trail was crowded so it took some time. We stopped at the end of the trail for lunch by lake alpine and we then turned around. Eric and I booked it through without stopping, no photos, no spotting. I was leading up the final obstacle. I had made it through the lower and middle section of the stairs no problem. I turned towards the hard line on the final piece and thought I had it. Then I slid and heard a loud bang. I gave here a little gas but didn't move. I back up and looked under the truck I had nailed my drive shaft. I backed up more and took the easier line out. Eric tried the hard line but everyway he lined up he was still going to hit his driveshaft so he took the easy line too. So far lisa is the only tw member to make it up the hard line this year. And by the way Eric and I wheeled the trail in 45 minites which has to be a record.

It happened going up this last section of the stairs. I hit the rock on the right. Photo is of lisa coming down.

Took a while to get home. The whole truck shook over 40mph

I left it in cuz I didn't want to tow my trailer in front wheel. I drove slow for the 120miles home. Truck vibrated whenever I went over 40mph. Good news was there was a lot of traffic so we moved slow.

Yeah. I drag it over stuff so others wont get lost behind me. It leaves a nice trail. We joke about it but it actually happened last year. Eric and Jberry showed up to wheel separately and followed my smurf trail on the boulders.
