How have you liked the CBI stuff? I really want to do my front and a rear swing out tire carrier with double gas/water cans but skids and sliders are going on first. Anyone locally make quality stuff?

U can probably find a fab shop but it will cost. Just get a bedinner rack from all pro and get rotopax 4gallon jugs that's just me

I love the CBI stuff. Only issue is I got used to my rear camera that's now blocked from the tire carrier haha

I have a custom tube rack with canvas cover now. I want something a little more sturdy like the cbi bedrack and swing out tire carrier with drop plate for side table with 2 jerry cans. Swing out and front bumper is in future. Skids and sliders first and possibly the rtt on my current rack or upgrade to the cbi.

its not bad its just mad traffic on i5 well not as bad as before but still bad.. where are you planning to stay in the area?? if you have kids, schools in university place is good. and DuPont area. I don't know too much about spanaway except its ghetto in my opinion lol. UP is a rich area of Tacoma, Puyallup is nice but hella traffic on meridian st. most soldiers live in Olympia or yelm, roy area too and some live out in UP and the other areas I just pointed out so just heads up when you come sales tax is 9.5 in Tacoma, almost 10 up north. no state tax. Oregon is 2.5-3 hour drive, same going to BC. anything else let me know whats up

I live out in Spanaway, sort of... The newer areas are quite nice, but there are definitely some sketchy areas. There's a ton of new home/apartment construction going on from where I am all the way over to meridian. I'm former army, so don't actually drive on base much, but my wife still is, and likes living on the east side of it. East Gate road is usually pretty busy during peak gate hours, but the traffic isn't really slowed down much. Thing I love about where I'm at, is that I'm close enough to UP, Tacoma, the Bay, Puyallup and just about anywhere else that I can put up with the traffic, but not so far that those drives become a hassle. The particular area of Bethel School District where I live is, IMO, pretty good. We've had no problems whatsoever with my daughter's school.

Really, I think the ghetto/sketchy area image of Spanaway is due to Pac Ave.... but that's true of almost the entire length of Pac Ave, but especially Parkland (I would strongly advise against living there, despite my going to school there)

I feel like more should be on here.. there's a good amount of modded tacomas. I've seen anything from lifted DCLB's to single cabs.

I'm always around the Stone Ed center area and the buildings off Pendleton where it turns to Jackson
