There are drainage holes that work really well when you are driving and stopped

During big snow storms, when I'm too lazy to pull my truck in the garage, I've been known to throw a plastic bag over mine as it sits in the driveway :anonymous: :D

Well ups has screwed me for the third time...(2 other times they damaged body panels of mine during shipping).

Just got my package delivered and there was a huge hole in the plastic and a few machine screws rolling around in the orange bag...Looks like I'm missing most of the hardware?

I'll be going to lowes to rig up the rest as it seems I'm missing a few small brackets and clamps/screws.

Im not looking to get in touch with airflow to get the missing stuff sent to me because this is going on the truck tomorrow!

Installed mine last night. I'm not too impressed with the hardware, instructions, and template quality. Seems really half assed to me. The brass screws in the snorkel go straight thru the plastic. The studs you screw into the brass screws all needed to be filed due to slag left from being cut. Template was way off. Ended up drilling the big hole, and using grease on the studs to mark the other holes.

For the butyl mastic, I am a huge procrastinator and didn't order anything online. So, when my shit arrived yesterday I absolutely needed to put it on lol. Trying to find butyl mastic is insane...the Home Depot and lowes guys looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. Ended up using mastic tape to seal it up. You need this shit because the snorkel fittings are horrible and will leak without it.

Just my .02¢. Overall pretty stoked. Thanks again mahalo taco.

    couple other notes -

the elbow that goes into the engine bay is a c-hair too large to fit thru the hole. I shaved it with a dremel and it fit thru perfectly. Im running the clamp inside the engine bay like another member on here stated. Also, be patient when taking the plastic splash guard (fender liner) off. I almost ripped my flare off getting frustrated with them.

Trim lots of that stupid bracket inside the fender. Its super tight in there. Instead of using the stud with a nut for the upper snorkel bolt, I just used a bolt with the same treads. To me, it was easier to get in and tighten.

Oh yeah, don't forget to plug the 3 little drain holes in the beginning of the OEM air intake. Youll see them when you take it off to cut the old intake tip.

Sorry, I suck at taking pictures. Only took 2 the entire time. Was more interested in drinking beer.

I ended up cutting the bracket inside the fender using a sawzall with a long blade.

Yep. I said to have fun shoving the elbow through the factory inlet hole. :)
