    lots of info on the site;

    this is pretty cool for the users streaming music if you are not always checking performance
    Autonomous
    Unlike other solutions which simply stop functioning when the mobile device is not present, UltraGauge Blue is completely autonomous and will continue to collect and store vehicle data indefinitely. When a mobile device is connected, all data such as accumulated fuel usage will be instantly available as if the mobile device had always been present. The UltraGauge Blue OBDII adapter can remain installed indefinitely without regard to any detrimental effects common with offshore elm327 OBDII adapters

    another nice thing about no wires, means no unit being displayed.

    less tempting for a thief to want to enter your vehicle

    Also one could use an Ipad or a tablet and not interfere with your phone at all.

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Super cool. So it stores info and uploads it to your device once connected, but you DO lose real time without it.
    An excuse to buy more techno shit? :bananadance:

    Look at the bright side: don't need to see that side of the road.

    I bought a blue recently, not happy with it. Pain for the initial connection to phone. Doesn't auto connect often. Never has acknowledged any readings from the truck. I plan to call tech support for help and see what's up, maybe I just got u bad unit.
    Wish I had bought a wired unit.

    ARGH. That's a good argument right there to possibly go with wired instead of bluetooth.

    I wonder if this is a common problem or an isolated thing.
