That's why I got a titanium wedding ring. It will never break.

On the other hand, if my finger were to swell enough there is no way to cut the ring off and they'd have to cut my finger off.

Titanium or Tungsten is your best bet. I've always wanted one of those with a single diamond inset or tention set.

 

Pehaps switch to a cock ring? Less likely to crush that i hope

 

More like we didn't think about that until we bought the rings. Both my wife's rings are titanium as well. So we just don't wear them when we are doing stuff.

Hell, I just don't ever wear mine. I'm not a fan of wearing rings.

 

my plan is to take a 1oz bar and make a wedding band out of it. Portable wealth and not flashy other than its a brute

 

I did the same, and have the same fear of the loss of finger hah. I hardly wear mine at work for this reason and just really where it when out and about with the wife on dates and such.

My wedding band is ceramic. Non-conductive (I work on electrical machines all day), black finish is way more durable than gold, and if something were to crush it it would break. I smack it onto steel and concerete frwquently and it appears to be indestructable. Plus being gloss black it is different than most. Just a simple band.

 

And now that we are done talking about jewelry....

I have seen a LOT of the new body style (2016) Tacomas on the road lately! Toyota must be happy with sales.

Def not opposed to other metals... but like gold.

30+ years of wearing it, and 3 instances all in the last 2 years... not really a problem. I'm not much on diamonds for my ring, just want something thicker that will compliment her custom rings.

Wear mine all the time, except the past 2 weeks, and I don't like not wearing it. Just part of me at this point.

That's pretty cool, but not my style. I looked through their pages and didn't see anything. I know a gold dealer in Rockville MD where we had a lot of custom work done over the years. He gave me the name and number of a Phoenix joint as well as how much to expect for the grams I'm getting rid of.

I bought a $10 tungsten band on Amazon after losing a $150 tungsten band. Looks no different than the band I bought at a jewelry store. Works awesome and also works as a bottle opener when in a pinch.

 

I wear a band even when I take it off because of the indent. I really should get a ceramic or nylon band because I'm around live circuits once in a while at work.

 

After 30+ years wearing, and about a month (time flies) of not wearing it, I STILL have the indent.

 

I've never really tried rings (not sure why I would at my age anyways), but I have formed a bad habit for watches lately. I want so many

 

I can't afford the watches I want.

 

I used to have a thing for watches.. then I found my Citizen.. I fucking love this watch so damn much. it never comes off, so light, thin and comfortable. and.. no batteries. I dont think I can ever own another watch. it does everything i need it to, its dependable and accurate as shit, AND it was hundreds and hundreds of dollars. no need to ever upgrade or change. I'm gonna see how long this thing lasts!
