Exactly. It has more content. If toyota adds more similar content to the 4runner pro then I would expect different. I really don't understand how some guys aren't getting this.

Thats less than a limited, HIGHLY doubtful as it has more features/exclusivity than a limited. I don't understand why everyone insists on putting it behind the 4runner, you can't even compare the content, the new Tacoma Pro has more features/options it will cost more, not to mention Bilstein Suspension vs. Fox.

Im not a manager so I could not get a spec sheet so that might be awesome! and yeah I do not understand why people are so bent over them but compare it to 4runners and assume that they can get it for cheap. its not worth the 10k jump from a OR....

minus JBL isn't confirmed as the prototypes and other preproduction show JBL. But there are rumors of PWR sliding window etc. Those 2 options far from negate the cost of the rigid lights, different grille, suspension upgrade, etc. and its exclusive/limited in production, it will cost more than a limited, arguing otherwise is silly, pro always has and always will.

Thanks man, if you look at those arguing less, no offense but they are new members and likely new to the platform, the rest of us know how this works.

A Pro with blind spot monitoring and cross trafic alert. Wouldn't that be a PITA when using the truck for what it was 'meant' to do. Watch out for that tree, watch out for that boulder, watch out for that armadillo, watch out for that....and my fist would go through the nag screen...it's a poser. Give me a stripped down version of this so called off road prowler and we'll talk. Oh you fucked up your mirror when you brushed against a tree and busted up your turn signal. That will be $500. Makes no sense. Build a vehicle for the 'purpose' of off roaring with all the parking lot goodies....

Limited starts at $39,730 with tow package. I'm sticking with around $42,000.

Pro has never really been for serious off roader, its a status/image vehicle.

I'll bet you my 2016 it'll be more than a limited, 4 runner pro and somewhere between $43-45k, the GM Twins special edition off road type models are $45-48k as well.

I agree it will be more than the Limited but only by $2,000 or so. I highly doubt it gets above $43,000. I could be wrong.. We'll find out very soon.

Personally, I'm waiting for Ford to come out with the new Ranger. Until then I will continue to enjoy my Tacoma.

same thing that @usafwx said it is mainly for that status/image. most guys who buy them buy them for that reason alone its like buying a hellcat.

You can actually have items removed off your spec sheet if you dont want them, they're not built yet so nothing is in stone. I just had the paint protection 3M film removed from my build.

I'm also interested in the Ranger but not interested enough to wait. Could be a very nice truck though especially with a turbo engine.
