    And make sure it's properly set in the frame before you start doing any tightening. I was originally doing everything upside down because there is no easy way to rest this thing right-side up with all the protruding plastic (especially the 2 main mount points), but that was a mistake. I ended up resting it upright when tightening and just made sure to rest it on my arm while tightening to avoid putting too much pressure on the plastic.

    Maybe should be on the install thread, but I put screws in loosely to hold the plastic to the grill, then set the whole thing on two upside down five gallon buckets and tightened screws, slowly pulling the plastic up around the grill til I had everything centered just right. Took a little while but I liked that better than doing it upside down and then checking to see how it all fit together from the front.

    That is not fully installed it will sit deeper in the factory surround.

    Pull the surround a little to pop the other side in. It's a very tight fit it's supposed to be that way so there is not visible gaps.

    Once I got it figured out (didn't any to scratch the surround) it worked just fine. Great product.

    Mine came with 4 extra fender washers, I'm not missing anything there correct?

    That sucks, did you use anything between the pliers and grill to try and keep from scratching it up. Was it bent or were you just having a hard time getting it to fit inside the surround ... none the less, looks great !
