Best way to fix this is load your bed with a yard of crushed granite or sand and drive around awhile. Boom, no more rust.

I've never...ever... seen such a clean Tacoma bed before.

 

And I haven't even begun the epic detailing process. Must be leftover from the 3 other times I've detailed the bed this week.

Ha, ha...hardly. It 's my daily driver. I rinse out the bed when I wash the rig....but I have never cleaned it. I was just kidding with the picture.

Have a bakflip mx4 on and I always unload bed after hauling anything. The only thing I can think of was I hauled a universal weight machine to the junkyard months back and I had to make some sawzall cuts on the long pieces to fit it in. But not sure why it is collecting in the corners. I do know the spot I park in in the driveway, if it’s raining heavy, water pools above that corner on the cover due to the grade and slope of the ground.

This is exactly how my truck looks. I haul lots of iron.

 

I hit it with simple green and a nylon brush and 1700 psi water, didn’t remove all of it. Any pointers?

 

Toilet bowl cleaner . The HCL breaks down iron. Use rubber gloves and lots of water to rinse everything good

 

Does that hurt paint if any of it drips?
