Yeah seems to be you might not have done so well in physics or math class

Once again, you are talking about SIZE, but WE are talking about LOAD RATING.

For instance, P245/75R16 vs LT245/76R16-E. They LOOK the same, but one of these is much stronger than the other.

Yeah, it seems to ME that you aren't even talking about load rating, but are talking about DIMENSIONS.

Trust me, I know. Internet debates where neither of us are physicists though aren't worth the time nor effort.

OP, I hope you got your answer out of all this BS. +1 tires in a lower load rating and you'll be just fine.

I'm not claiming one way or another, since I have neither interest nor use in comparing credentials, BUT, you don't know what I am, therefore you don't have the right to make such an assumption.

I can tell by your assertions you are full of bull. That's enough for me

You've already proved that that is actually yourself.
So how about it? You try out, in a controlled environment, changing to better tires **OF THE SAME SIZE**.

The only data you have presented involves your butt-dyno and absolutely no attempt to isolate any of your several conflicting variables.
Your assertion is useless, and contradictory to actual physics.

Just so everyone knows, OP already has his tires, so no arguing over size or rating will do anything.

No, you are small minded. You make an assumption, doesn't matter if it is right or wrong, and you aren't even willing to reconsider your assumption when faced with reality.

Are you even capable of admitting that there are multiple variables in your assertion?
The impact of being PHYSICALLY larger,
    The impact of being HEAVIER,
    The impact of being STRONGER.

They are NOT all the same thing.

I posted that I already had them a while ago. Some where on page 1 of this in the first 10 or 15 posts. Basically I bought both the wheels and tires, and then due to a issue on my truck, I started to freak out about the warranty side of things.

It has been a long an interesting thread
But basically I gathered what I already knew deep down, 1size bigger with a C rating and I should be good to go!

This is where the physicist falls flat in the real world test. This would be true if you accelerated up and coasted to a natural stop at every intersection, but in the real world, people accelerate up and very intentionally throw away that "balance out of the energy cost" by braking. The net waste of energy (traveling vs making heat) in ramp up vs. ramp down is substantial.

Weight has an effect for sure less than diameter cause that throws gearing outta whack but ride quality is also impacted so fact 1: 32"vs 31" will have more effect but is also compounded by the weight just not as drastic but if you throw both 32s and one is 50 pounds heavier just a random number I know that would be impossible but seriously you would feel that but regardless everything has an effect and let's all agree on that
