I dunno, I've kinda liked it that way, just gets really dirty looking fast... I'll decide next week when I change the oil.

The only reason I can think of is if they're drilled it can weaken them. But I wouldn't think that would be much of an issue.

Believe me. If they were weaker and they broke in half trying to loosen them, I would be on cloud nine. There is no way you are going to break the originals, no matter what tool you use.

If I could snap one in half, at least you could remove it in pieces and save the A-arm.

    Good conversation.

The reason the aftermarket cam bolts are junk is not because of the bolt itself, but because of the eccentric cam and how they key into the bolt.

The OEM bolts key in nicely on both ends, don't have any slop, and have a decent amount of overlap as well. The aftermarket units are just a D shaped bolt and washer. After a couple alignments, they tend to round out, making them impossible to align. Then you have to do it all again.

Do it right or do it twice.

    Not buying that at all.

I know the differences between the factory bolts and aftermarket bolts. The manner in which the cams attach to the bolt is not a big deal at all.

The cams help the alignment stay put until the tech can tighten the bolts. Once bolts are tight, they are not washing out. I call Bull Shit on that.

If the cam bolt are greased, you will never have trouble loosening up bolts/bushing to align.

Anyone elses gas light seem to come on prematurely and randomly when its hot out? When its cold it doesn't come on till the hand reaches bottom of line.

They round out when the techs are doing the alignment. There's dozens if not hundreds of members on here that have had it happen.

The slop to begin with also means a less accurate alignment.

Shock isnt on far enough or its to wide. If its touching the washer then itl loosen the bolt when it rotates.

Mine is kinda weird . It only comes on below the line and then will fade on and off. My last tacoma (99' pre-runner) would come on and stay on once it got to the line. Try not to never get my tank that empty but sometimes shit happens.

I let it run low before i fill up. Some people fill up after every trip. Seems like a waste of time if it aint needed.

Its not seated back fully in the pic its flush with the mount stud when on properly. I had a poly bushing that fit perfect just had to cut it to size. And my genius self is discovering locktite is good for more that just wheel studs lol.

Mine had enough of natures loctite (rust) that it wouldn't come off on its own anyways. Alot of the bolts on my truck have that...

Always heard it was bad for the pump and system to run that low on fuel constantly. What's your guys take on this?
