OP, let me know if their LCA bushings are a direct replacement for a Tacoma.

The basic enternals and bolt-ons don't differ much from one 2GR application to another....be it a Toyota or Lexus.

Oh ya ... ... that certainly clears things up ... ... so when your alternator goes you can go to the Lexus dealer and get one of their's ... then you can explain to them your theory ... do me a favor ... get a video clip of that when you do go ...:stirthepot:

This is silly, Toyota is #2 for reliability behind Lexus. Most Lexus customers are old Asian women. They don't even sell trucks or fleet vehicles.

They are literally the same product. Most recalls affect both sides because of this.

Compare an Avalon to an ES....they share the same platform and powertain....even built at the same plant in Ky. But there is an obvious difference in material quality, particularly in the interior. However, the mechanicals are nearly identical. In other words...there is no actual "Lexus" water pump, etc.

I've wondered why in the face of people buying so many "Platinum" F150's, Lexus doesn't make a truck.

The 02 tundra was powered and sold with a Lexus motor in it.
So you should shop for that

Yeah...pretty much...though most of the 2uz engines for the Tundra application were produced in Alabama.
